FTTC200 - Deck the Tree

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone~
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge (FTTC200)! It is my turn to host and I am challenging you to make an ornament or any 3D project that is decorated on a Christmas tree.
Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

My ornament was used Petals & Peace set. I also used the coordinating die, Classic Keyhole die set and Spellbinders dies to design the ornament. The image was stamped with Memento tuxedo black on classic white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped on the vellum paper. To finish off, I embellished the rhinestones and gold ribbon for the hanging.

SNSS Graceful Calla Lily

Hello everyone~
I have one card to show you today. I made this for the Sweet 'N Sassy Blog post and it was used the colors that were Sandy Hook Elementary school colors (Green & White). I am still sad about what happened there last Friday, but instead of depressing about it, I keep praying for the parents, family and friend who have lost those precious lives. I hope they will find some peace and comfort one day.

All we have right now is truly a gift. We are promised nothing. I need to remind of myself to be thankful & grateful what we have had and for what is left every single day.

I used Graceful Calla Lily set for the card. The image was colored with Copic markers. I usually use E40, 41, 43 to get more depth on white image. To finish off, I simply tied the ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas Cards & SCS Challenges

Hello everyone~
I had a couple cards I want to show you today! I have submitted a couple challenges from Splitcoaststampers with them. All stamped images and sentiments of both cards are from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps.

The first card (above) was used Snow Special set and I used the color combination from Color Combination Challenge 405 (CC405). I stamped the snowman with light shade ink (Memento desert sand) and colored with Copic markers. My coloring skill are not that great but I like the soft look that lighter ink brings...It almost looks like it was water colored.

The next card was used Poinsettia set and used the sketch from Sketch Challenge 415 (SC415).  I found a beautiful holiday paper and I cut it to the word "Merry Bright" was on the bottom of card. The image was colored with Copic markers and I added the ribbon to dress up the mat. To finish off, I simply stamped the greeting on the top of the card.

At last but not least, one more Christmas card! I actually made this one for a while ago but I never posted on my blog. I used Christmas Candle set. The card was used the sketch from Sketch Challenge 413 (SC413). The image was die cut with the coordinating die, Christmas Light Candle die.  I fuss cut the greeting and added the tea roses for the embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.

FTTC199 - Non-Traditional Christmas

Hello everyone~
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge (FTTC199)!! I took a few weeks off from this challenge but I am glad to be back! I hope you remember me, lol.

It is Ally's turn to host and she is challenging us to make a Christmas/holiday card with non traditional Christmas colors - no red or green here ;)
Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

For my card, I used purple and blue. The stamp image was from Peace & Joy set and I stamped it on the classic white cardstock with Memento tuxedo black. It was colored with Copic markers. The rest of the card was created with  CME Crocus paper collection and MME designer paper.  For the embellishments, I used the white scalloped lace trim and light blue crochet lace. Then the silver swirl rhinestones were dressed on them to finish off.

Copic colors I used for this project:

SNSDC80 - Shaped Card

Hello everyone~
I have one card to show you today! This card was made for Sweet 'N Sassy Digi Challenge (SNSDC80). The challenge is to create a shaped card.

Did you know they just released the new digital images? And that's not all... all digital stamps are 25% off until Nov 21st! Be sure to visit SNSS store to check all fun events throughout their birthday month!

You can see I made a Christmas Tree shaped card :) I created the shape with Spellbinders Nested Pennants and Lacey Nested Pennants Nestabilities. I used Pippin's Christmas Lights Digi for the image and the greeting from Christmas Sentiments Digi.
I really wanted to use the new digital images, but unfortunately my printer is out of ink right now :( Hopefully I can get new ink and print them out soon!

SNSS DT's Favorites Blog Hop!!!

Hello everyone~
It is time to celebrate!! Happy Birthday to Sweet 'n Sassy Sassy Stamps, celebrating 5 fabulous years!!

Whoop! Whoop!

We have a lot planned this month in honor of our 5th birthday starting with today's special DT Favorites Blog Hop.  The best part about this hop is that all of the sets the DT is featuring are on sale---25% off today through November 7th!!!
I hope you enjoy the beautiful creations shared today featuring our favorite Sweet 'n Sassy Stamp sets!!

I have a quite few favorite sets and it was hard to choose just a couple of :P, but I hope you like my picks too.

Here is my first pick:

I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful set, To Paris With Love. For this hop, I decided to create an Easel card using the set. The image was colored with Copic markers and sponged with ink. The card was designed with the some border punches, fancy tag for the sentiment and beautiful designer paper. To finish off, the card was embellished with the flowers and rhinestones.

My next pick is Together Silhouettes. Even thought I've used SNSS digital stamps a lot, silhouette stamps are always my favorite! I especially love this one. I wanted to design the card with colors that make you feel happy and this was what I came up with. My very favorite part of the set is the umbrella stamp! I absolutely enjoy using this set every time :)

FTTC193 - Fall Off The Page

Happy Tuesday everyone~
I've seen all damages by Hurricane Sandy by news since yesterday.... I am praying for all people that have been affected by this.

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC193)!! Ally is challenging us to create a card or project where your focal image falls off the page. Instead of seeing your entire stamped image, your image falls off of the edge of your page!
Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

From all of beautiful FLLC stamps, I decided to play with Sunflowers for the challenge :) The image was stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored with Copic markers. The card was designed with classic ivory cardstock, colored cardstock and designer papers. I die cut the sentiment piece with Tailor-made classic keyhole die and stamped the sentiment from Sentimental Favorites set. To finish off, I embellished the lace trims and rhinestones.
