Hope and Comfort

 

Hello there,

I have one sympathy card that I made earlier today. Sadly I am in need of sending this to my friend tomorrow. I hope this is not something to remind them about the tragic loss. My goal is to comfort them and let them know they are my thoughts and prayers.

I used Calla Lilies from Flourishes and the image was colored with Copic markers. The flowers were added the dimension. The background was dry embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder and sponged with ink. The white mat was used Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set. To finish off, the silver pearls were embellished on the white mat.

This card is also my submission to the SCS Way To Use It challenge (WT368).

SCS Challenges

Hello everyone~
It's finally Friday!! Woohoo! Today's card was combined 3 challeges from SCS. Yep, I killed 3 birds with one stone, lol.

The challenges are
- SCS Color Combination challenge 238 (CC238)
- SCS Sketch challenge 248 (SC248)
- SCS Way to Use It challenge 238 (WT238)

I used Special Delivery from There She Goes. I jazzed up the sentiment with the cute image for WT238. I think it's fun this way instead of stamping just "Send with Love". Don't you think?
The images were colored with Copics.

ようやくここも、金曜日です。今日のカードは、SCSからの３つのチャレンジを組み合わせています。一石二鳥ならず、一石三鳥といった所でしょうか（笑）

スタンプは、There She GoesからのSpecial Deliveryセットを使いました。WT238をクリアするために、言葉に可愛いハートの切手のイメージを取り入れてみました。こういう風にすると、単に言葉だけをスタンプするより、カードに面白さがでますね。
イメージは、全てコピックで色を付けました。

LSC237 & WT235 -- My First Stamp Set

Hello everyone~

I made the card with using the retired snow man set from Stampin' Up for SCS Limited Suppies Challenge 237 (LSC237).
The limits are:
Use your OLDEST stamp set ----It's Snow Time set
Use your NEWEST tool ----- Nestabilities Label Eight
Use your FAVORITE color combo ----- red, blue & white (I LOVE the shade of red & blue together!!)
Use your LEAST FAVORITE embellishment ----- snaps (who needs them? I have brads!!)

Using red is also Way To Use It challenge 235 (WT235). I used my favorite shade of red cardstock and added the red color as an accent color of the snow man image.

One Christmas card is done!! Many more to finish, lol!!

リミットチャレンジは、最初に購入したスタンプセット、一番新しいツール、大好きな色のコンビ、そして一番好きではないエンベリッシュメントを使うのがテーマです。このスノーマンのスタンプセット、ネスタビリティーレベル８のダイ、赤、青(水色）と白のコンビ、そして、スナップが、私のリストでした。

赤色をここで使っていたので、WTチャレンジにもエントリーしたまでです＾＾

CC229, SC239 & WT229

Hello everyone~
My feeling is bitter sweet right now with SU! because I'm officially resigned as a SU demo today....:( I learned how fun stamping was through SU! last 5 years. Their product is the one of the best qualities I've experienced, and I will continue to be a great SU customer ;) Is anybody interested in me as a customer??

今回のカードは、SU!(Stampin' Up!)を使いました。今日を最後に、もうデモンストレーターを辞める事になったので、ちょっとだけセンチメンタルな気分です。約5年間SU!を通して、スタンプってこんなに楽しいんだということを学びました。SU!の製品は、私が色々使った中でずっとベストクオリティーの中に入っています。これからも、SU!の客として、色々購入していくつもりです。私をお客として興味があるデモの方、是非声をかけて下さいね~＾＾

I combined 3 SCS challenges in the card - Color Combination challenge 229 (CC229), Sketch challenge (SC239) and Way To Use It challenge 229 (WT229).
CC229 was a kind of hard color combo to work with for me but I'm very satisfied how it was turned out. For WT229, I used the circle clip I purchased at Target for a long time ago. I inked them with StazOn Opaque white.
The leaves on the branches were created with certainly celery marker.

今回は、３つのSCSチャレンジ－カラーコンビネーションチャレンジ229(CC229) 、スケッチチャレンジ239(SC239)、そしてWay To Use Itチャレンジ229(WT229)を組み合わせました。
CC229は、私にとって難しい色のコンビでしたが、出来上がりは、かなり満足しています。WT229には、昔Targetで購入したサークルクリップを使いました。これに、StazOnオパークの白のインクを付けています。枝に描いた葉っぱは、セロリ色のマーカーを使って描きました。

WT226 -- Christmas in July

Hello everyone~
I made this card for SCS Way To Use It challenge 226 (WT226). The challenge was to make Christmas card(s) -- Christmal in July. It's close to 98 degree outside where I live, even it's 6:00 pm ... So, it's actually better staying inside and stamping :)
I colored the image from Whiff of Joy with Copics. I trimmed the flourishes and the word with scissors and xacto knife....yes, it was pain in the neck. Is it worth to do for making the card more interesting? ...Yes! Do I want to do it again?....Not right now, lol!

Whiff of Joyのスタンプイメージは、コピックで色を付けました。フローリッシュと言葉は、鋏とカッターを使って、チマチマと切っています。結構細かい作業で、時間がかかったこと。。。でも、カードが素敵に仕上がったと思います。でも、きっと同じ作業は、当分しないだろうな（笑）

Catching up SCS challenges

Hello everyone~
I'm trying to catch up SCS challenges I've missed. I wish I had 6 extra hours everyday, lol.

The card above was used the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 227 (SC227) and combined SCS Way to Use it challenge 217 (WT217), Kool Kraft. I love kraft but I often forget to use it. The color combo like this is really the out side of box for me but I kinda like how it was turned out :)
The set I used is called She's A Lady from There She Goes.
I colored the lady with Copics. The high heel was stamped with black & VersaMark and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I also added lavender Stickles on the roses.

今回は、最近見逃したSCSのチャレンジを使って、カードを作りました。1日があと6時間ほど増えてく欲しいところです。。。（笑）

上のカードは、SCSのスケッチチャレンジ227（SC227)のスケッチを使い、Way to Use itチャレンジ217（WT217)、「クールクラフト」のチャレンジを取り入れました。クラフト色は大好きですが、使うことを忘れてしまう色です。この色のコンボも、私にとっては意外な色の組み合わせでしたが、結構気に入りました。
セットは、There She GoesからのShe's A Ladyを使っています。
女性は、コピックで色を付けました。ハイヒールは、黒とバーサマークのインクで捺してから、黒のエンボスパウダーを使ってヒートエンボスしています。最後にバラの部分だけ、ラベンダー色のSticklesを付けました。

The next one was used the sketch from SCS Clean and Simple challenge 13 (CAS13). It was also combined with SCS Limited Supplies challenge 219 (LSC219). The challenge was to make a project that reflects or represents any May celebration.
May 6th is "International No Diet Day" and I decided to make a card that was all SWEETS!!
Here is the detail about the celebration if you are interested :)

All stamps are from There She Goes. I used Cupcake mix & match for the most of cupcakes and the sentiment. The little circle image is from A-Z and 123, and the little cupcake is from Tweeterpated. All images were colored with Copics and I added Stickles and Glossy accents on the cakes for the little extra shine :)

次のカードは、SCSのクリーン＆シンプルチャレンジ13 (CAS13)のスケッチを使い、リミットサプライチャレンジ219 (LSC219)も取り入れています。チャレンジは、「5月中にある祝日にまつわる、又は表現している作品を作る」でした。
毎年5月6日は「ダイエットをしない日（International No Diet Day)」という祝日だということを知ったので、スイーツ満載のカードを作ることにしました（笑）

スタンプは全てThere She Goesからです。殆どのカップケーキは、Cupcake mix & matchのセットを使っています。小さなサークルのイメージは、A-Z and 123から、小さいカップケーキは、Tweeterpatedからのスタンプを使いました。イメージは全て、コピックで色を付け、Sticklesとグロッシーアクセントを使って、光沢を少し付けています。

I made this card for SCS Way to Use It 216, Basic Black (WT216). I love the challenge like this :) It's was so wonderful to go back to basic.
The new stamp, She's A Lady has the cute poodle and I just had to mix with another set, LOL Taglines to make the sentiment more realistic, lol.
For the challenge, I used the black cardstock, rhinestones, ink and pigment marker. All images were colored with Copic markers and I drew the lines for the panty hose with the black line marker. I peirced the top and bottom of the card and added the black rhinestones.

このカードは、SCSのWay to Use It 216、ベーシックブラック（WT216)で作ったものです。こういうチャレンジ大好きです。基本に戻るって、たまには必要ですよね。
新しいスタンプ、She's A Ladyは、セットの中に、可愛いプードルが入っていて、もう1つのセット、LOL Taglinesと組み合わせてみました。文が、もっとリアルな感じになりますよね(笑）。
チャレンジには、黒のカードストック、ラインストーン、インク、ピグメントマーカーを使いました。イメージは全て、コピックで色を付け、ストッキングのラインは、黒の極細マーカーで描いています。カードの上と下に、ピアシングをしてボーダーを作り、最後に黒のラインストーンを付けました。

WT210 -- Life...live like you mean it

Hello everyone~
How about another card with H&M Stamps? The trees images are from Seasons of Trees. Can you see the versatility of the set? It was fun making each tree for each season :)
I colored the three trees with Copics and I used the liquid applique for the winter tree.
Although I love the sentiment says, I'm not sure it was suited for the images....what do you think?

今回は、H&M Stampなんてどうでしょうか？この木々のイメージは、Season of Treesセットからのです。このカードでは、色んな違った使い方をしてみました。四季ごとの木を作れて楽しかったです。
３つの木は、コピックで色を付け、冬に木には、リキッドアップリケを付けて雪を作りました。
この言葉ってとっても素敵だなと思うんですが、このイメージに合っているかどうか。。。どう思いますか?


Oh, and I did the challenge with the card, which was SCS Way to Use It challenge 210 (WT210) - Going Green. To clear the challenge, I used scraps for some of the papers and green color. My first thought about going green is to plant trees. That's the main reason I decided to use the tree stamps for the card.

あ、後はチャレンジもちゃんとしました。今回は、SCSのWay to Use It チャレンジ２１０(WT210) - ゴーインググリーンでした。チャレンジをクリアするために、いくつかの紙にスクラップを使い、グリーンの色も使いました。ゴーインググリーンのイメージとして、１番に思い付いたのが、木を植えるということだったので、木のスタンプを使おうと思ったのも、このセットを使った大きな理由です。

Angelic Moments

Hello everyone~
Ahhhh, it's warm and nice here in Texas. It's a spring cleaning time in my house and I've tried to spend my stamp time less than usual for the couple days.
I made 2 cards and one ATC today with the brand new stamp set, Angelic Moments from H&M Stamps and all the projects were used SCS Inspiration challenge 170 (IC170). I took my inspiration from this wall clock from Spunky Sprout.

皆さん、こんにちは～ 今日のテキサスは、暖かい春の陽気を迎えました。我が家は春の大掃除の時期なので、此処２日ほど、いつもよりスタンプをする時間を減らしました。 今日は、H&M Stampsからの新しいスタンプセット、Angelic Momentsを使って、２枚のカードと１枚のATCを作り、全ての作品に、SCSのインスピレーションチャレンジ１７０（IC170)を取り入れています。今回は、Spunky Sproutの壁時計をインスピレーションに使いました。





Since I was a little behind some of other challenges, I decided to combine them each project. Can you tell which challenges are in which project??
他のチャレンジも、少し遅れているので、それぞれの作品にも他のチャレンジを取り入れることにしました。ちゃんと説明は付けるつもりですが、どのチャレンジをどの作品に使ったかわかるかな？

This ATC was also combined SCS Way to Use It challenge (WT208) - ATC challenge.
All the images were colored with reinker and Stampin' markers with the aquapainter.

このATCは、SCSのWay to Use It チャレンジ208（WT208）- ATC チャレンジを組み合わせてました。
全てのイメージは、インカーとマーカーに水彩筆を使って色付けしました。

This card was combined with SCS Limited Supplies challenge 210 (LSC210) - Make a card or project within 30 minutes. I even used my inspiration for the sketch to finish the card less than 30 minutes. The hardest part was where to place the sentiment. I still think the sentiment should be placed lower.

このカードは、SCSのリミットサプライチャレンジ210（LSC210) - 30分以内で、カードまたは作品を作るというチャレンジを組み合わせました。30分でカードを作り終える為に、スケッチも時計を参考にしました。言葉をどこに付けるかに一番時間を費やしたと思います。後は、もう少し言葉を下に捺せば良かったかな。

This one was combined 2 challenges - Mojo Monday sketch 76 (Mojo76) and OCC challenge. This week's OCC challenge is doodling. Silke's sample card was stucked my head and I just had to case the challenge, lol. Isn't her work amazing?

これは、Mojo Mondayスケッチ76（Mojo76)とOCC チャレンジの2つを組み合わせました。今週のOCCチャレンジは、手描き（doodling)です。Silkeさんのサンプルカードが頭に残っていて、結局彼女が使ったチャレンジをケースしちゃいました（笑）彼女の作品の数々、本当に素敵ですよね～?

WT204 -- Butterfly Kisses gift bag & card

Hello everyone~
I was not feeling good and just took easy for a day. I watched recorded TV shows while folding clothes, checking all subscribed blogs (500+ new posts, Wow!) and took a nap.... maybe I just needed to enough sleep because I felt much better after I woke up :)

I made the card for SCS Way to Use It challenge 204 (WT204). In the last post, I mentioned that I was hoarding many papers and embellishments....Julia S (the challenge host) must have read my mind because the challenge was to find the way to layer the embellishments.
Along the challenge, I decided to make the matching gift bag to enter the one of the contests that was going on over Nicole's blog for Papertrey Ink 2 year anniversary.

今日は、あまり気分が良くなかったので、テレビを見ながら洗濯物を畳んだり、いつも読んでいるブログ（５００以上更新あり！）を読んだり、昼寝をしたり。。。。多分、睡眠を十分にとる必要があったのかもしれません。昼寝から起きたら、気分が良くなりました（笑）

カードは、SCSのWay to Use Itチャレンジ２０４（WT204)で作りました。前の更新で、沢山のペーパーとエンベリッシュメントを勿体無くて使えずにとってあることを書いたのですが、Julia Sさん（チャレンジのホスト）は、多分私の気持ちを読んでいたんでしょうか。。。今回は、エンベリッシュメントを重ねた使い方をするチャレンジでした。
このチャレンジに伴い、Nicoleさんのブログで只今行われているPapertrey Ink２周年記念のコンテストの１つにエントリーするために、お揃いのギフトバックも作りました。


For the both gift bag and card, I used Prima flowers. I layered the tied ribbon to the flower on the card. And I used the same ribbon as bag handles with looping through the each flowers. The rhinestones I used on the butterflies are hotfix crystals.

The template for the bag was made by Angela Sylvester and it was featured on SU On Stage magazine. This gift bag is also a great way to use up my hoarding designer papers, lol. The card base and gift bag were used with retired SU Simply Scrappin' kit. Yep, another hoarding supplies ;-)

ギフトバックとカード両方に、プリマの花を使い、カードには、結んだリボンを花に重ね、同じリボンをバックのハンドルに使って、それぞれの花に通しています。蝶々に付けたラインストーンは、ホットフィックスクリスタル（熱で裏の接着剤を溶かして使うラインストーン）です。

バックのテンプレートは、Angela Sylvesterさんが作ったものを使ました。これは、SU On Stageマガジンで紹介されたものです。このギフトバックは、使いきらない紙を使い切るのにもいいですよ（笑）カードとギフトバックは、廃盤になったSUのスクラップブックキットを使いました。これも、使いきらない品ですね～＾＾”

WT202 & LSC204

Hello everyone~
It's finally Friday!! It was a busy week and I'm ready to take a rest :) Of course I make a time for stamping, too!!

皆さん、こんにちは～
やっと金曜日です！！今週は、忙しい1週間だったので、少し一息つきたいところです。勿論、スタンプの時間も、ちゃんととりますけど(笑）

I did 2 challenges over SCS for the last couple days. The card above is for Way To Use It challenge 202 (WT202). It was a pretty fun challenge with using designer papers.
I used 2 retired designer papers from Stampin' Up! and made the dry embossed paper with Cuttle Bug embossing folders. I trimmed the one to look like waves and mounted them over the other one.
The beer and boat image was colored with Copic markers. I thought it would be a great birthday card for a guy who loves beers and fishing!

I used "LOL Taglines" and "Send with Love" from There She Goes.

ここ2日で、ＳＣＳのチャレンジを2つしました。上のカードは、Way To Use Itチャレンジ202（WT202)で作ったものです。パターンペーパーを使っての結構楽しいチャレンジでした。
Stampin' Up!から廃盤になったパターンペーパーを2種類使い、カトルバグのエンボスフォルダーで、ドライエンボスをしました。1枚を波になるように切り、もう1枚の紙に貼り付けています。
ビール缶とボートのイメージは、コピックマーカーで色を付けました。ビールと釣りが好きな男性にピッタリのバースデーカードになりそうですね(笑)

スタンプは、There She Goesの「LOL Taglines」と「Send with Love｣を使っています。




カードに捺した文章の訳：男に魚を与えたら、一日中魚を食べてるし、男に魚の釣り方を教えたら、一日中ボートの上でビールを飲んでいる　(本当に、男の人って。。。って、思う感じですね。）

The next one is for Limited Supplies challenge 204 (LSC204). The challenge is to use black as a card base.
I just got this adorable Japanese Geisha image from The Greeting Farm. It's a digital image and you can save it in your PC and print it out whenever you need. I still love rubber stamps but this is a great way if you want to use the image right away. Many of my stamping firends live in Japan and I'm sure the digital stamps will help them save money (especially, shipping costs).

When I tried to color it with Copic markers for the first time, the ink bled bad. So for the second time, I sprayed Fixatif before coloring and Wala! the problem solved!! I will try Prismacolor pencils & gamsol and watercoloring later if they are worked or not. I will let you know how they turn out :)

次のカードは、リミットサプライチャレンジ204（LSC204)で作りました。チャレンジは、カードベースに黒を使うチャレンジです。
この可愛らしい芸者のイメージは、The Greeting Farmで購入しました。これは、デジタルスタンプなので、ダウンロードをして、パソコンにセーブし、使いたい時にプリンターでプリントアウトするスタンプです。ずっとラバースタンプＬＯＶＥの私ですが、もしイメージを直ぐに使いたいという時は、こういう方法も悪くないと思います。日本にいる皆さんも、お金がセーブできるのでは？(送料とかは、特にお金がかかりますよね）

初めて、これをコピックマーカーで色付けしたとき、インクが滲んで台無しになったので、次は、フキサチーフをスプレーしてから色を塗ったら、インクも滲まず結果オーライ！今度は、プリズマカラーとモルツベンや水彩色も試してみようと思います。結果は、後ほど報告しますね。

WT197 -- Quickie Gift Bag 2

SCS Way To Use It challenge 197 is to make a last minute gift. If you saw my last post, you already knew I made the last minute gift yesterday :) Anyway, I made another gift bag for the challenge and this time is for a M&Ms lover?

SCSのWay To Use Itチャレンジ１９７は、ラストミニットギフトを作るです。前回の日記を読んだ方は知っていると思いますが、先日同じ様なギフトを作りました。そして、チャレンジ様に、凝りもせず同じギフトバックをつくってみました。今回は、M&Ms好きな方へのギフトです。

I used the burlap bag for this project. You can purchase the same bag at There She Goes.
The only differences from the muslin gift bag I made, I snipped the square window with the scissors I just love the peek, especially the treats like M&Ms. To let you know, I put the M&Ms in the clear bag before putting into the burlap bag ;)

この作品では、麻生地のバックを使用してみました。There She Goesで同じ物を購入できます。
前に作ったモスリンのギフトバックとの違いは、バックの四角い穴の部分を、鋏で切ったことぐらいでしょうか。Ｍ＆Ｍｓのようなお菓子などは、中身が少し見えるのが、逆に楽しいですよね。このＭ＆Ｍｓは、麻生地のバックに入れる前に、ちゃんとクリアバックに入れたので、ご安心を：）

Peaceful Snowflake

Hello everyone~
I have another holiday card to show you today.
I made this card for today's SCS Limited Supplies challenge (LSC197).

The limitations are:
--Use snowflake images only
--Use monochromatic colors
--Add sort of bling or sparkle into the creation
--Sentiments may be one work only

Even though there were some limitations, I knew what I wanted to do at the moment I read the challenge. What can I say... I just LOVE snowflakes :)

今日は、もう１枚ホリデーカードを載せておきます。
このカードは、今日のＳＣＳリミットサプライチャレンジ（ＬＳＣ１９７）で作りました。

今回限定されたことは、
・雪の結晶のイメージのみを使う
・単彩系の色を使う(モノクロマティック）
・どこかにブリンクやスパークルなものを取り入れる
・言葉は、一言のみ

限定がいくつかあるチャレンジでしたが、チャレンジの内容を読んだ後直ぐに、これを作ろう～と思いました。雪の結晶は、大・大好きなんですよね～、私：）


It was used resist technique for the background. The snowflakes were stamped with VersaMark Dazzle and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then 2 different purple shades were added with the brayer and sponge.
Why did I choose purple?
Because I just made the ATCｓ for Purple ATC swap and the colors were worked so well. I will upload the ATC soon ;)

The punched snowflakes were inked with VersaMark Dazzle and heat embossed with holographic embossing powder. For the finish touch, I added Stickles in the middle of the snowflakes and added the ribbons on the card.

I also decorated the envelope for the card to finish SCS Way To Use It challenge 195. This is such a great way to finish a card completely! Maybe I should do it for everytime I make a card.

バックグランドは、レジストテクニックを使っています。雪の結晶を、ＶｅｒｓａＭａｒｋ　Ｄａｚｚｌｅを使って捺し、クリアエンボスパウダーでヒートエンボスしました。その後、２色の紫色をブレイヤーとスポンジを使って着色しました。
何で紫かって？
この間、パープルＡＴＣ交換会で作ったＡＴＣの色合いが、とっても気に入った色合いだったので、今回も使ってみました。作ったＡＴＣは、後ほどブログに更新しますね～。

パンチでくり抜いた雪の結晶は、これまたVersaMark Dazzleのインクを付け、ホログラフィクエンボスパウダー(ラメ入りのエンボスパウダー）を使い、ヒートエンボスしました。仕上げに、結晶の真ん中にＳｔｉｃｋｌｅｓを付け、カードにリボンを付けました。

最後に、ＳＣＳのWay To Use It challenge 195もクリアする様、カードに合わせて封筒も飾ってみました。これって、作るカードと一緒に、いつもすればいいのかもしれません。これから、封筒も頑張ってみようかしら？

Quick Cards for Holiday

Hello everyone~
The busiest time of the year is coming.... The time is more precious during the time. Usually I love to take a time to make each card. The coloring, layering, cutting detailed images...these are my favorite things to do for my cards. However, it is very difficult for me to take so much time if I'm going to mail the cards to all of my family and friends during the Holiday season. I also have to think about handling and mailing the cards carefully since many of them live overseas.

I made these cards for SCS challenges. I thought they were quick to make and safe to mail :)

師走の季節がやってきますね。この時期は、時間がもっと貴重になります。１枚、１枚時間をかけて作るのが好きで、特に色付け、レイヤー、細かいイメージをカットする事が好きな私。でも、家族や友達全員にホリデーシーズンにカードを送る場合、そんな時間をかけて作ることは、とても難しいのが現実です。それに、多くの知り合いが海外に住んでいるので、送付や梱包も配慮に考えなくてはいけません。

今回のカードも、ＳＣＳのチャレンジで作ったカードですが、時間をかけずに作れ、海外に送るにもいいカードだなと思ったので、こちらに載せておきます。

WT193

SCS Way to Use It challenge 193 is to use pearls. As you see, the pearls are attached on the star image. I used Silent Night from PTI. This beautiful image could do all the work, but I used the decorative border and corner punch to make the card be more interesting :)

ＳＣＳのＷＴチャレンジ１９３は、パールを使うです。見ての通り、バールの粒を星のイメージに付けました。スタンプは、PTIのSilient Nightを使っています。綺麗なイメージが、このカードの出来上がりを全てしてくれたようなものですが、少しだけ演出の為、デコレートボーダーとコーナーパンチを使いました。

SCS Inspiration challenge 155 is from the TV show "Mad Men". The show setting is 1960's and all the fashion & interior decors are definitely inspiring :)
I used the green dress that Bobby Barrett is wearing.

The stamps are from Tea for Two Special Blend by There She Goes. I also used "for" & "You" of the sentiment from Tea for Two set. I added Stickles on the candy canes for the glittery look of the dress and rhinestones for the jewelies.

ＳＣＳのＩＣ１５５は、ＴＶドラマ”Mad Men"を使ったインスピレーションチャレンジです。このドラマのセッティングは１９６０年代で、ファッションやインテリアなど、とても興味深いものが沢山あります。
今回は、Bobby Barrettが着ている緑のドレスをインスピレーションに使いました。

スタンプは、There She GoesのTea for Two Special Blendを使っています。"for"と"You"は、Tea for Twoせっとの言葉の一部を使いました。ドレスのキラキラ感を真似て、キャンディーケーンにＳｔｉｃｋｌｅｓを付け、ラインストーンはジュエリーを真似て付けました。

WT186 -- Love Is Like a Butterfly

I made this card for Way To Use It challenge 186. The challenge is to use a poem or quote in your project. As soon as I found what the challenge was, I grabbed Butterfly Happiness set started stamping, lol.
The card is folded in half and folded in half again for the front card only.

このカードは、Way To Use Itチャレンジ１８６で作ったものです。今回は、詩、慣用句などを使って、作品を作るチャレンジです。どんなチャレンジかわかった後、直ぐにButterfly Happinessセットを取り出し、スタンプをし始めました(笑）
カードは、初めに半分に折り、カードの前だけ又半分に折っています。

Here is when the card is opened
こちらが、カードが開いた状態です。

The butterfly images were stamped with Brilliance and colored with Copic markers. I attached them and the quote panel on the stamped backgrounds.
The ribbon is used to keep the card from opening. I also colored the flower to match with the butterflies :)

蝶々のイメージは、ブリリアンスを使ってスタンプし、コピックマーカーで色を付けました。それらと慣用句のパネルを、スタンプを捺したバックグランドに付けました。
リボンは、カードを閉じておく為にも使っています。蝶々の色に合わせて、花も色を塗ってあります。

I'm Here For You

This card is made with Here For You set.
This is the one of my favorite color combos and I thought it would be great for the set.

I stamped the bird on the branch with chocolate chip and cut out with Nesties. And I sponged the panel. On the card base, I stamped the stems with brush blossoms and little birds with chocolate chip. And I also sponged around the edge.
I attached the ribbons, the sentiment panel with flowers and the decorated photo corners.

このカードは、Here For You セットを使いました。
この色の組み合わせは、特に好きな色のコンビで、このセットに合っていると思います。

枝に乗った鳥のイメージを濃茶色でスタンプし、ネスティー(ネスタビリティーの略）を使って丸く切り取りました。そのパネル全体に、スポンジで色をつけています。カードのベースは、草を肌色で、小さな鳥達を濃茶色でスタンプし、端はスポンジで色を付けました。
リボン３本、花と一緒に言葉のパネルを貼り付け、形が変わったフォトコーナを２角に貼りました。

Lady Bug Love

Hello everyone~
SCS Way to Use It challenge 185 is to use "CHARMS"
I had to think when was the last time I used charms on my project .....The answer was too long time ago to remember! I found the lady bug charm in my embellishment drawer and decided to make a card with Little Lady stamp set from Papertrey Ink.

My original plan was to use the circle panel on the center of the card instead of the heart panel. But when I decided to use the sentiment, I also changed my plan. I think the heart is better for the card......What do you think?

SCSのWay to Use It チャレンジ１８５は、｢チャームを使う｣でした。
私の作品でチャームを最後に使ったのは、何時だったか考えてみましたが、昔すぎて覚えていません(笑）エンベリッシュメントの引き出しに、てんとう虫のチャームがあったので、Papertrey InkのLittle Ladｙスタンプセットも一緒に使ってカードを作る事にしました。

元々のプランは、カードの中心に、ハートのパネルではなく、サークルのパネルを使う予定でした。でも、この言葉を使おうと決めた時に、元のプランも変更する事に。このカードには、ハートのパネルの方が合っていると思いますが、皆さんはどう思いますか?

WT183 White Gel Pen

Hello everyone~,
Today's challenge is Way To Use It 183 -- Use white gel pens!
Not only I love white gel pens, but also I love any kinds of gel pens period! When I was a high school student, I used to go to the Japanese stationary stores and bought the new gel pens and markers. They are my treat and I saved money for them, lol.
My friends and I used to exchange the letters (no e-mails or text messages that time) and we always used gel pens to write and draw all kinds of stuff. I still love using them and so does my daughter. Everytime my gel pens are diappeared from my work station, and I find them in her room, lol.

皆さん、こんにちは。
今日のチャレンジは、「Way To Use It 183 -- 白ジェルペンを使う」です。
白のジェルペンだけでなく、全てのジェルペンが大好きです。高校生の頃、文房具屋さんで新しいジェルペンやマーカーが出る度に買いに行ってました。この為にお金を貯めていたこともあります(笑）
友達と手紙の交換(この頃は、まだE-mailもテキストメッセージも無かったの）をしていて、ジェルペンで手紙を書いたり、色々落書きをしていたのを思い出します。今でも、作品にジェルペンを使うのが好きで、これは娘にも引き継がれているみたいです。机からジェルペンが消える度に、娘の部屋にあるのを発見(笑）やっぱり、親子で好みが一緒みたいです。


For this card, I used the white gel pens for highlighting the dry embossed image.
I used Cuttlebug embossing folder for the dry embossing. Cuttlebug's embossing folders are awesome!! You can make a great backgrounds with no time! After I made the embossed panel, I just started to draw the lines like making the shadows. I think the lines give such a interesting look on the embossed image.

The flowers were stamped and cut out. I curled the petals to look more 3-D.
The sentiment were stamped with VarsaMark and heat embossed with the white embossing powder.

このカードでは、白ジェルペンをドライエンボスのハイライトに使いました。カトルバグのエンボスフォールダーを使い、ドライエンボスをしています。カトルバグのエンボスフォルダーは、時間をかけずに、素敵なバックグランドもできてしまうので、本当に重宝してます。エンボスをしたパネルに、影を作る感じで線を描きました。エンボスのイメージに、また違った効果を与えてくれると思います。

花はスタンプをした後切り取って、立体的になるように、花びらの部分を少しだけカールしました。
言葉は、バーサマークでスタンプし、白のエンボスパウダーを使って、ヒートエンボスしました。

I admit....I love challenges!! I wish I didn't have to sleep so that I could try all of the challenges, lol. And I also admit..... I have so many cards I haven't uploaded on my blog. You can check the sketch for this card here. I colored the image with the reinkers and watercolor brush. I used some new In-Color and designer papers from Stampin' Up! Aren't they so pretty?
The stamp set is the one of the free stamp sets for Hostess. It is the one of my favorite stamp set in the new idea book & catalog. I just love the detailed stamps. It's so fun to color!!

This card is for SCS's Way To Use It 177 challenge. The challenge is to use scraps.
I had a ton of scraps, and I don't like to throw away. This challenge is a really great idea and I should do it from time to time to ged rid of some scarps.
I cut the scraps from Ginger Blossoms with 1" square punch and adhered them on the back panel. I also found the scraps for the borders, the flowers to add on the card. The main image was colored with Stampin' markers and the watercolor brush.
このカードは、ＳＣＳのWay To Use It 177のチャレンジで作ったものです。チャレンジは、「スクラップを使う」
沢山のスクラップ、家にもあります。でも捨てられないんですよね～。このチャレンジは、スクラップを消費するのに、とてもよいアイディアなので、時々やってみようと思っています。
Ginger Blossomsのスクラップを１インチの四角のパンチを使って切取り、バックのパネルに貼り付けました。ボーダーと、お花もスクラップから見つけたので、追加で貼り付けました。メインのイメージは、Ｓｔａｍｐｉｎ’　マーカーで色を付けた後、水彩筆を使って、少しぼかしました。

This card is for SCS's Limited Supplies challenge 179. The challenge is to make a card make someone smile.

I love this owl from Papertrey Ink. Every time I stamp it, it makes me smile. You cannot help smiling this innocent owl, can you?

I stamped the owl, branch, and flowers on the white cardstock. When I adhered them on the background, I made a little alternation for the branch and the one of the flower to look like the owl broke them.
The owl and grass were colored with Copic markers. The sky were sponged with aqua mist ink.

Papertrey Inkのこのフクロウが大好きで、スタンプをする度に、微笑んでしまいます。皆さんも、この無垢なフクロウを見て、思わず笑みが(笑）出てるかな？
フクロウ、枝、お花を白のカードストックにスタンプし、バックのパネルに貼り付けました。枝とお花の１つは、少し小細工をして、ふくろうが重すぎて枝が折れ、花も折っちゃった状態に見せるようにしました。
フクロウと地面は、コピックで色を付け、空は、水色のインクをスポンジでぼかしました。

SCS's Inspiration Challenge 139 would be the one of my favorite inspirations!! You can check the Pink Lemonade Bags here. I took my inspiration from this bag.

On the pink cardstock, I stamped Doodle This stamp set with the black ink. And then I colored them with Stampin' markers for the more details.
I mounted the ribbon and stamped the sentiment with the white craft ink. I used white gel pen for the faux stitches.
My favorite part of the creation was that it took only 10-15 minutes to make this card!

ＳＣＳのインスピレーションチャレンジ１３９は、私の中で、今までで一番気に入ったインスピレーションだと思います。Pink Lemonade バックは、こちらでチェックできます。私は、このバックをインスピレーションにカードを作りました。

ピンクのカードストックに、Doodle This のスタンプを黒のインクで捺し、Ｓｔａｍｐｉｎ’マーカーで色を付けました。リボンを付け、言葉を白のピグメントインクで捺し、白のジェルペンを使って、フェイクステッチを書いてます。
この製作過程で１番良かった点は、製作時間に１０-１５分しか掛からなかったことです！

OCC Christmas In July challenge




I made this card for Our Creative Corner challenge. The challenge is Christmas In July. In the craft world, July is the great month to start working for the Holiday season. I saw my local craft stores started decorating the Christmas trees. Some of people think it's still so early to think about Christmas but it's always nice to plan ahead, isn't it?

I used the designer papers for the card and the colors were chosen from the ones on the paper.
The snowman was stamped with Brillance black ink and colored with Copic markers. It was added some drizzles with frosted lace Stickles (love it!)
The sentiment was stamped with cranberry crisp ink on the white cardstock and I cut it with my xacto knife.

このカードは、Our Creative Corners チャレンジで作ったものです。テーマは、「７月のクリスマス」でした。クラフトの世界は、７月からホリデーシーズンに向けて活動し始めます。近くのクラフト店でも、クリスマスツリーを飾り始めました。人によっては、今からクリスマスの事を考えるなんて早すぎると思う人もいると思いますが、早めに始めるのは、個人的には余裕が出来て良いことだと思います。

カード全体に、デザイナーペーパーを使いました。色もこの紙からの色を使っています。
スノーマンは、黒のブリリアンスでスタンプし、コピックで色を付けました。後は、frosted laceのスティックル(お勧めです！）を使っています。
言葉は、白のカードストックに、クランベリー色のインクで捺し、工作用のカッターで切り取りました。

OCC Sketch Challenge


This is for another Our Creative Corner challenge. The sketh for the challenge is here.
I was inspired the card by Lynda Benden from OCC. I made the ocean waves for the wave on the sketch, just like Lynda did.
I used Prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color the girl. I cut her out and mounted on the central panel.
These desiner papers are from KI Memories. I bought them about 5-6 years ago. I think they are really fun for the summer theme. I don't know why I didn't use them until now....


これは、別のOur Creative Cornersのチャレンジで作ったカードです。このチャレンジのスケッチは、こちらで見ることが出来ます。ＯＣＣのLynda Benden (リンダ・ベンデン）さんが作ったカードをヒントに、私もスケッチの波を、海の波に仕立てました。
プリズマカラーとモルツベンで女の子に色を付け、切り取った後中心のパネルに貼り付けました。
デザイナーペーパーは、５-６年前に買ったＫＩ Memoriesのペーパーです。今まで使う事が無かったんですが、夏のテーマにピッタリの楽しいデザインだなと、改めて思いました。何で今まで使わなかったんだろう・・・・。
