I'm alive

Hello everyone~
I'm sorry that I've been away from my blog last few days.
I was so busy with major cleaning and organizing throughout the house and helped Troy (my DH) put the sliding door in the wall where the windows were used to be (well, he & his uncle did most of the part. I just supervised, hehe) My PC was used to be at the same wall and I had to turned it off for 2 days.
I moved my PC to my stamp room and finally sat in the chair! I'm so happy that all of my stuff is in the one place now :)
If I had a bathroom in my stamp room, I would never come out from the room, except when I had to eat, lol.

Anyway, I will be back to business tomorrow.

SC211 Haiku papers

Hello again~
2nd post for today!! I was going to post this later but I have some errands tomorrow. I'm really tired and need to go to bed. Please forgive me if this post would make you feel hurry.

再び、こんにちは～です＾＾
今日2回目の更新です。本当は、後ほどこの日記を書こうと思っていたんですが、明日は所要で忙しくなりそうです。疲れているので、この日記を書いたら寝ることしますが、急かした日記にになってしまっていたらスミマセン。


I made this card for SCS Sketch challenge 211 (SC211). It's a fun and creative sketch! Of course I had to try it :)
I used this SU designer paper "Haiku" for a couple days ago (click here). I really love them so much and decided to keep using here, too :) The flower was too big for the rectangle panels that I wanted to use, so I just let it stick out. The some parts of the flower were mounted with the dimensionals. And last, I attached the sentiment and used the ribbon to finish the card.

このカードは、ＳＣＳのスケッチチャレンジ211（ＳＣ211）で作ったものです。今回のスケッチも楽しくて、クリエイティブなスケッチだったので、勿論、チャレンジしました。
2日前に、HaikuというStampin' Up!のデザイナーペーパーを使ったばかりですが(こちらをクリック）、とっても気に入ったので、今回も飽きずに使っています。お花は、私が使いたい四角のパネルよりも大きいサイズだったので、そのまま飛び出させました。お花の数箇所は、ポップアップさせています。そして最後に、言葉を貼って、リボンを付けてカードを完成させました。

Home is...

Hello everyone~
I made this card with using SCS Color Combination challenge 201 (CC201). Blue is my favorite colors so if I have to use any blue colors in the challenge, it makes me happy :)

このカードは、ＳＣＳのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ201（ＣＣ２０１）を使って作りました。青は、私の1番好きな色でして、青が入ったチャレンジは、どれもハッピーな気分にしてくれます：)

The stamp set I used for the card is "Welcome Home" from There She Goes. From the day when I got the set, I fell in love this door image. Jessica is so creative and genius!! I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I colored and cut the extra for the door and mounted them with the dimensinals.
Since the sentiment is "Home is where the heart is", I chose the heart panels. And the ribbon and brads were added for the finish touch.

カードに使ったスタンプセットは、There She Goes の「Welcome Home」というセットです。このセットが届いた時から、このドアのイメージにやられました：）Jessicaさん、本当にクリエイティブですごい!!イメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンデ色を付けました。もう1つ余分にドアのパーツを作り、ポップアップさせています。
言葉は、｢Home is where the heart is」なので、ハートのパネルを使う事にしました。仕上げに、リボンとブラッドを付けました。

TLC203 Origami Box with Cover

Hello everyone~
This gift box is for Today's SCS Technique Lover's challenge (TLC203). It's Origami box with cover. I have made the origami box many times since I was a kid but I never made the ones with cover! How cool is it?
Please click TLC203 above for the box and cover's tutorials. I used one 12" x 12" paper for the box and two 12" x 5 1/4" papers for the cover.

このギフトボックスは、今日のＳＣＳテクニックラバーチャレンジ（ＴＬＣ２０３）で作ったものです。折り紙の箱にカバーを付けてあります。折り紙の箱は、子供の頃から何度も作っていますが、カバーを付けた箱は作ったことがありませんでした。なかなか素敵ですよね～？
箱とカバーのチュートリアルを見るには、上のＴＬＣ２０３をクリックして下さい。私は、12" x 12" の紙を箱に1枚、12" x 5 1/4"の紙をカバー用に2枚使いました。

I used SU Haiku dp for for the box. The stamped images were colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. And I added Stickles. The all flowers were trimmed and mounted on the big label panel that was made with SU Top Note Bigz Sizzix die.
I don't know who I'm going to give the box to yet. Kimberly, my daughter's birthday is the end of this month and I'm thinking make a bunch of this for her friend's birthday goodies.

この箱には、Stampn' Up!のHaikuというパターンペーパーを使いました。スタンプのイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付け、Sticklesを少し付けています。花は全て切り取った後、ＳＵのTop Note Bigzシジックスダイで作った大きなレベルのパネルに付けました。
このギフトボックスを誰に贈ろうかまだ決めていませんが、娘のキンバリーの誕生日が1月29日なので、お友達のプレゼント返し用に沢山作ってみようかと思っています。どう思いますか?

Birthday Card for MIL & IC162

Hello everyone~
It's a beautiful Monday morning here in Texas. Yesterday was my Mother-in-law's birthday and I gave this birthday card. She is a big fan of House Mouse Stamps and I make her birthday card with them every year. She is the best mother-in-law I can ask for. I'm so blessed!!

テキサスは、晴天の月曜の朝を迎えました。昨日は、義母の誕生日だったので、このバースデーカードを彼女に作りました。義母は、ハウスマウスの大ファンなので、毎年誕生日カードは、これを使ったカードを贈っています。私には、勿体無い素敵なお義母さん。私は、本当に幸せ者だと思っています。

I always love the look of House Mouse images with gamsol magic tachnique. As I said, I colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. And I also colored with Twinkling H2Os. I used the dimensionals to pop up the popcorns and cake.

ガムソルマジックのテクニックを使ってのハウスマウスのイメージが、私としては1番好きなので、今回もプリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンを使って色を付けました。その後、Twinkling H2Osで色を足しています。ポップコーンとケーキは、ポップアップさせました。

I also decorated the inside.
カードの中もデコレートしました。

The next one is for SCS Inspiration challenge 162 (IC162). I was so excited with the challenge more than usual because the inspiration was Asian motif - Tenugui. I use them for my daily life so I never looked as a inspiraion before. It was very refreshing and I have different aspects to Tenugui towels now :)

次のカードは、ＳＣＳのインスピレーションチャレンジ１６２　（ＩＣ１６２）で作りました。今回のチャレンジは、アジアのモチーフ、「手ぬぐい」をインスピレーションに使ったので、いつも以上に遣り甲斐がありました！手ぬぐいは、いつもの生活で使っている物なので、インスピレーションとしてみる事が今までありせんでしたが、このチャレンジを通して、手ぬぐいへの見方が変わりました：）

I took my inspiration from this Tenugui. You can check other beautiful designs here.
こちらの手ぬぐいをインスピレーションに使わせていただきました。他の素敵なデザインは、こちらで見ることが出来ます。



The plum trees were stamped with chocolate chip & VersaMark. Then they were heat embossed with clear embossing powder. And I added the background colors with the brayer and sponges. I colored the blossoms with Copic markers to finish the panel.
The Kanji letter on the lower right is the one of my first name ("Ma"). I just stamped it to look more Asian :)

梅の木は、茶色のインクとヴァーサマークを使って捺し、クリアエンボスパウダーでヒートエンボスをしました。その後、ブレイヤーとスポンジを使って色を足しています。最後にコピックマーカーで色を付けました。
右下の漢字は私の名前の頭文字です(ともたんさん、有難う!!)。これがあることで、もっとアジアンッぽくなる気がしませんか？

Mojo Monday 68

Did you enjoy Verve's release party last night? I was not the party because I was making the card above for Verve's Mojo Monday 68 ;) (Mojo68) However, I checked the new stamps at Verve Stamps shop site and they are fabulous!! I may have to break my 2009 resolution -- SAVING MONEY :-0

昨夜のＶｅｒｖｅのリリースパーティーは参加しましたか?私は、パーティーではなく、VerveのMojo Mondayチャレンジ６８（Mojo68)の、上のカードを作っていました。でも、新しいスタンプは、ちゃんとVerve Stampsでチェックしました。う～ん、どうやら今年の抱負 --「貯金」を今月もう破ってしまうかもしれません:-0

I colored the darling Magnolia Stamps images with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also used Twinkling H20s for shading. Then I trimmed and mounted them on the border to look like they were sitting.

この可愛らしいマグノリアスタンプのイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付け、Twinkling H20sを使って影を付けました。それから鋏で切りとり、ボーダーの部分に、座っているように貼り付けました。

Verve's LFL challenge Day 2 - 4

Hello everyone~
I have 3 cards to show you, that I made Verve's Looking For Love Release challenge. Verve Stamps is going to have Release party on Friday night (which is tonight!) and Julie, the owner of Verve Stamps, hosted the challenges for the last 4 days. I don't have any Verve Stamps yet (I have a huge wish list though) but I always enjoy their challenges. Julie and the the Design Team surely know how to have a fun!!

Anyway, these are the cards I made. The card I made for Day 1 is posted here.

今回は、ＶｅｒｖｅのLooking For Loveリリースウィークチャレンジで作った3つのカードを載せておきます。金曜日の夜(こちらの時間で今夜）に、リリースパーティーをVerve Stampsが行う予定ですが、それに伴い、オーナーのJulieさんが、4日間続けてチャレンジを出されていました。Verveのスタンプをまだ購入した事はありませんが、チャレンジは、いつも楽しませてもらっています。ちゃんと盛り上げる事を知っているJulieさんとデザインチームも素晴らしい!!

それでは、こちらが作ったカードです。第1日のカードは、こちらに載せてあります。


This is for Day 2 challenge (VSLFL2). The stamp set is called "Special Delivery" from There She Goes. The mail box is fit with the sketch so perfectly!! I colored the image with Copic markers and added the pop-ups for the mail box and grass. I also drew the little hearts on the envelops to give the accent.

これは、第2日目のチャレンジ（ＶＳＬＦＬ２）で作りました。スタンプセットは、Their She Goesからの「Special Deliverｙ」です。郵便箱が、見事にスケッチにフィットしています!!イメージは、コピックマーカーで色を付け、郵便箱と草は、ポップアップしてあります。アクセントに、封筒に小さなハートを描きました。

Paper: kiwi kiss, real red, chocolate chip, ski slope dp (SU), watercolor paper (Strathmore)

Ink: dark chocolate (PTI), copic markers

Accessories: ribbon, border punch, spiral punch

The next card is for Day 3 challenge (VSLFL3). Isn't the flower beautiful? Once I chose the designer paper, it didn't take much time to finish the card. The flower was colored with Copic marker and added the pop-up . The border was stamped with SU! Baroque Border stampin' around and I just added the ribbon.

次のカードは、第3日目のチャレンジ（ＶＳＬＦＬ３）で作りました。このお花、すごく綺麗なイメージでしょう?パターンペーパを決めてからは、直ぐにカードが出来ました。花は、コピックマーカーで色を付け、ポップアップしています。ボーダーは、ＳＵ！のスタンプローラーでスタンプし、その上にリボンを付けました。

Stamps: Dreams du Jour, Baroque Border stampin' around (SU)

Paper: riding hood red, close to cocoa, chocolate chip, whisper white, Bella Rose dp (SU)

Ink: chocolate chip, close to cocoa, (SU), dark chocolate (PTI), copic markers

Accessories: ribbon, photo corner punch, scallop border punch, nestabilities, pearls

The last card is for Day 4 challenge (VSLFL4). It is another wonderful sketch!!
I used the new stamp set, ”LOL Taglines” from There She Goes. My hubby thinks this set is the greatest and this flaming heart is his favorite :)
After I colored the flaming heart with Copic markers, I chose all the papers to use. When I finished the card, I thought "This is Micky Mouse colors!!"
Now, the only I can see from the card is Micky Mouse instead of the flaming heart :0
I definitely use the different color combos for the image next time!

最後のカードは、第4日目のチャレンジ(ＶＳＬＦＬ４)で作ったカードです。これもまた素敵なスケッチでした。There She Goesからの新しいスタンプセット、「LOL Taglines」を使っています。主人は、このセットがとても気に入っています。中でも、この炎のハートが1番好きだって(笑）
炎のハートをコピックマーカーで色を付けた後、どの紙を使うか決めました。カードを作り終わった時の私自身の感想は、｢あっ、ミッキーの色だ！」
それ以降、炎のハートを無視して、全体がミッキーカードに見えてしまっています(笑）
次回は、違う色のコンビで作ってみたいと思います。

Live With Passion

I was dying to color some cute images from Whiff of Joy today.
Both images are used gamsol magic technique with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also used Twinkling H2Os for shading.

今日は、Whiff of Joyからの可愛いイメージに色を塗りたくて仕方がありませんでした。
どちらとも、ガムソルマジックというテクニックを使って、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付けました。影の部分には、Twinkling H2Osで色を付けています。




The first card was combined SCS Color Combination challenge 200 (CC200) and Sketch challenge 209 (SC209). I was looking for the sentiment that something different and found the one from the one of SU！ :) "Live with Passion"... what a beautiful words!
The designer paper was stitched with my new sewing machine I got from Santa! It's small and has just enough stitch options for sewing my projects. I'm loving it :)

初めのカードは、ＳＣＳのからコンビネーションチャレンジ200（ＣＣ２００）とスケッチチャレンジ２０９　（ＳＣ２０９）を合わせて作りました。何かいつもと変わった言葉使おうと思い、ＳＵ！のスタンプからこの言葉を選びました。｢パッション(情熱）を持って生きなさい」。。。素敵な言葉ですね。
パターンペーパーは、クリスマスにサンタ(笑）から貰ったミシンを使いました。小型で、ステッチのオプションもあり、私の作品にはちょうど良いミシンなので、すごく気に入っています。

The next cards was combined with SCS Sketch challenge 210 (SC210) and Verve's Looking For Love Release Week challenge - Day 1 (VSLFL1). I always enjoy their challenges although I havn't participated as much as I wanted to do. My Verve wish list is so long. I hope I can get some of thier stamps very soon.
I have to do some adjustments for the 2 panels to fit in the sketch. I thought "XO" brads in my stash are great with the angel image :) For the finish touch, I punched 2 corners and added the ribbon.

次のカードは、ＳＣＳのスケッチチャレンジ２１０（ＳＣ２１０）とＶｅｒｖｅのLooking For Loveリリースウィークチャレンジ第1日目（ＶＳＬＦＬ１）を合わせて作りました。あまり参加してませんが、いつもＶｅｒｖｅが催すチャレンジは楽しんでいます。私の欲しいリストもすごく長いので、近い将来、いくつかスタンプが購入できればと思っています。
2枚のパネルをスケッチのようにする為に、すこしサイズを変えました。「ＸＯ」のブラッドが、エンジェルのイメージに合うかなと思ったので付けてみました。仕上げに、2つの角をパンチし、リボンを付けました。

FS100 (TSG meets PTI)

It's the first Monday of 2009!! My kids went back to school (even they didn't want to). It's good to be back to a normal routine :)

I made these cards for SCS Featured Stamper 100 (FS100). I was so excited the stamper was Julie (JulieHRR)!! I love her simple but well-designed style. Her cards make me smile all the time :)
Both cards are used There She Goes stamps and Papertrey Ink papers. TSG meets PTI -- Get it ;-)

2009年始まって、最初の月曜日です。私の子供達の学校も、今日からまた始まりました（子供達は嫌がっていたけど）。いつもの生活のリズムに戻って、家もやって落ち着いた所です。

今回のカードは、ＳＣＳのフィーチャースタンパー100（ＦＳ１００）で作った作品です。今回のスタンパーさんは、Ｊｕｌｉｅ（ＪｕｌｉｅＨＲＲ）さんだと知って、とっても嬉しかったです。彼女のシンプルだけども、キチンとデザインされたスタイルが大好きです。彼女の作品は、いつ見ても可愛くて、私にいつも元気を与えてくれます：）
両方とも、There She Goesのスタンプと、Papertrey Inkのペーパーを使いました。ずばり、ＴＳＧミーツＰＴＩです(笑）


For this card, I cased her card, "Hi, friend!"
I changed the color combo, stamps and the punched border.
The stamp set is "Sending My Love" from TSG. I {heart} this set! It's just perfect for Valentine's Day :) The tree was colored with Copic markers.

このカードでは、彼女のカード、「Hi, friend!｣をケースしました。
色のコンボ、スタンプ、パンチをしたボーダーを変えてあります。
スタンプセットは、SGの「Sending My Love」を使いました。このセット、とっても気に入っています{ハート｝。バレンタインデーにピッタリですね。ハートの木は、コピックマーカーで色を付けました。

For the next card, I cased her tea cup card, "You're My Cuppa..." Isn't it the cute design, or what?
I changed all the materials and added the dew drops. Like you see, I kept the layout and cup theme.
The stamp set is "Tea for Two" from TSG. The tea cup was colored with Copic
markers.

次のカードは、彼女のティーカップカード、「You're My Cuppa...」をケースしました。すごく可愛いデザインだと思いませんか?
全ての材料を変え、デュードロップを加えました。見ての通り、同じレイアウトと、カップのテーマを使っています。
スタンプセットは、TSGの「Tea for Two」を使い、ティーカップは、コピックマーカーで色を付けました。
