CC204 -- Grow with Love

Hello everyone~
When I checked today's SCS challenge this morning, there were no new challenge was posted. So I started cleaning the houses and doing the laundry all morning, lol. Well, when I rechecked after lunch, there were 2 Color Combination were posted!! What a bonus! I've played one CC challenge so far and I hope I get to play the other one after my kids go to bed.

皆さん、こんにちは～
今朝、SCSのチャレンジをチェックしたんですが、新しいチャレンジが出ていなかったので、家を掃除したり、洗濯などすることができました（笑）お昼が過ぎた後、またチェックしたところ、何と今度は、２つのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジが出されていました!!今のところ、１枚だけチャレンジをしましたが、もう１つのチャレンジは、子供達が寝た後でもしようかと思っています。

This card is for CC204. The colors for the challenge are tempting turquoise, gable green, pink passion, lovely lilac. They are all Bold Brights color group and I thought they would be wonderful for the spring flowers :)

I used Pansies, my favorite stamp set from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I took the idea of the heart wreath from Wendy's gorgeous framed heart wreath.
To make the heart wreath, I used the heart panel as a template and just adhered the pansies, were stamped and trimmed on the separate piece of white cardstock, around the heart. After the sentiment was stamped, I attached the rhinestones, the butterflies and the bow.
I used many colors for this card, maybe the most different kinds of colors I've ever used in one card! Now, the ink pads are all over my work table, lol.

このカードは、CC204で作ったカードです。このチャレンジの色は、tempting turquoise, gable green, pink passion, lovely lilac (SUからの色を抜粋）です。全ての色が、Bold Brights のカラーグループで、春の花に使ったら素敵な色だと思いました。

スタンプは、Kitchen Sink Stampsからの私の大好きなセット、Pansiesを使いました。ハートの意r－巣は、Wendyさんのゴージャスな額入りハートのリースからアイディアをもらっています。
ハートのリースを作るのに、ハートのパネルをテンプレートに使い、別の白のカードストックにスタンプし、切り取ったパンジーをハートの周りに付けました。言葉を捺した後、ラインストーン、蝶々、リボンを付けました。
このカードで、沢山の色、おそらく最も違う種類の色を使ったと思います。ただ今、テーブルがインクパットですごいことになっています（笑）

Paper: gable green, chocolate chip, whisper white (SU) white cardstock (GP)

Ink: blue pansy - cool caribbean, tempting turquoise, ballet blue, pacific point / pink pansy - pretty in pink, pixie pink, pink passion, purely pomegranate / purple pansy - almost amethyst, lavender lace, lovely lilac, elegant eggpalnt / butterfly - creamy caramel, close to cocoa, chocolate chip (SU)

Accessories: ribbon, rhinestones, CB embossing folder, Nestabilities

FS104 & OCC challenge

Hello again~
This is my second card for Sunday. I made it for SCS Featured Stamper 104 (FS104). The stamper was BevR!! She makes the most gorgeous cards and of course I'm her blog stalker, lol. Her cards are always fantastic inside as well as outside. I INSIST to check her gallery and you can thank me later, hehe.

これは、日曜日に作った2枚目のカードです。SCSのフィーチャースタンパー１０４(FS104)で作りました。スタンパーは、BevRさんでした!!彼女は、すごいゴージャスなカードを作る方で、私は、彼女のブログのストーカーです(笑）彼女のカードは、いつも中も表と同じ位素晴らしいんです。ギャラリーを是非覗いてみてください。お礼は後ほどで構いません(笑）

I was just overwhelmed her gallery but I decided to case this gorgeous rose card.
I changed stamps but kept the same flowers, added black to the color combo, used the heart insead of the doily and used the different embellisments.
The card is also combined the challenge from Our Creative Corner (OCCC) - to use 2 hearts or more. I used the scalloped heart and the heart charm that I was hoading for many years ;)

私は、ギャラリーで既に圧倒されましたが、このゴージャスなバラのカードをケースする事にしました。
テーマはそのままで、スタンプを変え、黒色を足し、ドイリーの代わりにハートを使い、違うエンベリッシュメントを使いました。
カードは、Ｏur Creative Corner（OCCC)のチャレンジ-2つ以上のハートを使う-にもチャレンジしています。スカロップのハートと、長年使い拒んだハートのチャームを使っています。

I used "Roses & Chocolate" from There She Goes and colord the image with Copics. I also used white gel pen for a little highligting. Since Bev always decorate inside the card to match with the card front, I did mine, too (of course, mine is not as fancy as hers, lol)

スタンプは、There She Goesからの「Roses & Chocolate」を使い、イメージはコピックで色を付けました。ハイライトに白のジェルペンも使っています。Bevさんは、カードの中も表に合わせて、デコレートしているので、私も同じくやってみました！(勿論、私のは、彼女のような華はありませんが。。。）

IC165 -- Elum Designs

Hello everyone~
I made a couple cards Sunday afternoon during the Superbowl :) I watched the beginning of the game, got up and stamped. After I came back from my studio, the game was 1 minute left so I watched until it was over, which I'm glad I did :) I'm not a big fan of Superbowl, but BOY! the last one minute was worth to watch! What a ending!!

Anyway, I made this card for SCS Inpiration challenge (IC165). It was from Elum Designs and another great inspiraition! I looked and looked the whole web site. And I finally decided to use the design as my inspiration.

皆さん、こんにちは～ 日曜日の夕方、スーパーボールが行われていた間に、2枚のカードを作りました。ゲームの初めを少し見てからスタンプをしに行き、スタンプの部屋から戻ってきた時は、ゲームが残り1分の所だったので、そのまま最後まで見ました。スーパーボールは、興味がありませんが、最後の1分は興奮しましたね～。まあ、すごい終わり方でした!!

話がそれましたが、このカードは、SCSのインスピレーションチャレンジ（ＩＣ１６５）で作りました。Elum Designsを使った今回のインスピレーションも、とっても良かったです。サイト全てを満遍なく見た後、最終的に、こちらのデザインをインスピレーションに使う事にしました。




I used my new favorite stamp set, "Flowers of Happiness" from There She Goes. I stamped the vines first and colored them with Copics. I also stamped the brances from TSG mini set, "Branches"（no more available, sorry). Then I stamped and colored the flowers with the same way on the white cardstock scraps. And I trimmed and mounted them on the vines with the dimensionals and mini dots.
I wanted to leave the space with white but I made the mess and had to added yellow color with the sponge to cover it up :) The ribbon and the circle panel with the sentiment were attached to finish the card.

スタンプは、私の新しいお気に入りになったThere She Goesからの"Flowers of Happiness"を使っています。蔦を初めにスタンプし、コピックで色を付けました。その上に、TSGミニセット、"Branches"(完売してました）の枝も捺しています。それから、花を同じ方法で、白のスクラップに作り、鋏で切りとり、蔦の上にポップアップやミニドッツを使って貼り付けました。空いた部分を白として残したかったんですが、汚くなってしまったので、隠す為にスポンジを使って、黄色を付けました(笑）最後に、リボンと言葉を捺したサークルのパネルを貼り付けています。

LSC205 -- Clean and Simple

Hello everyone~
I was going to upload this card but I was too busy for a couple days.
I made it for SCS Limited Supplies challenge (LSC205). The challenge was to make CAS (clean and simple) card.

皆さん、こんにちは～
ここ数日とても忙しくて、このカードを載せるタイミングを逃しました。
これは、SCSのリミットサプライチャレンジ（LSC205)で作ったものです。チャレンジは、CAS(クリーンアンドシンプル）のカードを作る。


I'm still trying to figure out what my style is but I know CAS is not my style. Although I love layers, it's fun to try the different style from time to time.
This card took only 10 minutes to make thanks to the fantastic tools I've collected over years, lol. I think I kept clean and simple enough... What do you think?

私のスタイルって何だろうと、未だに考えるんですが、CASは、私のスタイルではないというのは知っています。レイヤー大好きな私ですが、たまには違うスタイルをトライするのも楽しいですね。
このカードは、10分で作ることが出来ました。まあ、今まで集めた素晴らしい道具のおかげですが。。。(笑）
十分、クリーンでシンプルにしたと思いますが、どう思いますか?

TSG Sneak Peek -- Day 3

TGIF everyone~!
I'm glad it's finally Friday!! Kimberly is going to invite her friends to sleep over tonight!! My dh is at Houston right now and Trey (my DS) is going to his friend's house to sleep over. So it looks like the totally Girls ONLY party, lol.

Today's TSG sneak peek is for all the flower lovers! The stamp set is called "Flowers of Happiness". The flowers are fabulous!! Ms. Penny Utley brought the design idea and Jessica designed this beautiful images. It works very well for card making as well as scrapbooking!!

皆さん、こんにちは～ やっと金曜日が来てくれて嬉しいです!!娘のキンバリーは、今夜お友達を呼んで、お泊り会をする予定です。主人は、今ヒューストンの方に仕事で行っていて、息子のトレイは、友達の家にお泊り会に行きます。なので、正真正銘のガールズオンリーのパーティーになりそうです(笑） 今日のTSG スニークピークは、フラワーラブの方にピッタリのスタンプです。「Flowers of Happiness」というスタンプセットで、花のイメージがすごく素敵なせっとです。Penny Utleyさんが、デザインのアイディアを出し、Jessicaさんがこの綺麗なイメージをデザインしました。カード作りには勿論、スクラップブックにもよく使えると思います。

I took the color inspiration from my daughter's dress (shown below). And I used the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 129 (SC129) :) Sketches are like my savior whenever I stuck ideas.
I stamped the flowers on the white cardstock with 3 different colors for the background. I decided to color the flowers with Twinkling H2Os to give some shimmers. And I made the border with stamping the vines. The small flowers were stamped, trimmed and mounted on the vines.
It's a little hard to see the flower image behind the sentiment but it's more bright IRL and the card are more shimmery IRL, too.

カードに使った色は、娘のドレス（下の画像）から用いました。 あと、ＳＣＳのスケッチチャレンジ129（SC129）をレイアウトに使っています。スケッチは、いつでもアイディアが行き詰った時に私の救世主のようなものです。白のカードストックに、3色の色を使って、花のスタンプを捺してあります。少しキラキラと輝くように、Twinkling H2Osを使って、花に色を付けました。ボーダーは蔦のスタンプを捺して作り、小さい花はスタンプをした後、切り取って蔦に貼り付けています。 言葉の後ろに捺した花は少し見難いんですが、実物はもっと明るくて、カード全体もキラキラしているんですよ～。写真でそれがお伝えできないが残念です。

昨日の私のＰｕｎｎｙなカードは気に入っていただけましたか?皆さんのコメントを楽しく読ませてもらっています。本当に有難うございます!!　もし、ブログキャンディーのエントリーをまだされていない方は、こちらに行くと、詳しく説明しています。

Today's sneak peak is something for Valentine's Day!! The stamp set is called "Roses & Chocolate". Jessica & Faith (markie's mom) teamed up and made this beautiful baby!!
The images are great for Mather's Day, Wedding Anniversary, get well, thinking of you... AND of course, Chocolate Lovers like ME :)

For this sneak peek, I made the small card and the origami gift box.

今日のスニークピークは、バレンタインデーにピッタリなセット、「Roses & Chocolate」です。JessicaさんとFaith（markie's mom) さんがチームになって、生み出した素敵なスタンプ!!　イメージが、バレンタインデーだけでなく、母の日、結婚記念日、お見舞い。。。そして勿論、私の様なチョコレートラバーにも使える応用があるセットでもあります。

このスニークピークでは、小さなカードと、折り紙でギフトボックスを作りました。

The box was used 2 sheets of the 12" x 12"designer papers. I trimmed the brown one 1/4" off all four sides before folding. I know you can find this origami box instruction with PDF file from SCS Technique Lover's challenge 203 (TLC203).
The heart box image (I stamped two images) was colored with Copic markers and added a little dots on each candy with white and pink gel pens. Then I trimmed one whole image and the lid only of the chocolate box and attached on the pink scalloped panel as it's shown.
I wanted the brown box to be shown when it's shut so I punched out 4 tags and folded in half and attached inside of the red lid.

箱は、2枚の12インチ四方のパターンペーパーを使っています。茶色のペーパーは、折る前に四方を1/4"ズツ切り落としました。この箱の折り方は、折り紙で作る箱と同じです。もし、折り方を知らない、忘れちゃったという方は、こちらを参考にして下さい。
ハートボックスのイメージ(2つスタンプしました）は、コピックマーカーで色を付け、白とピンクのジェルペンで、チョコの天辺に、小さいドットを描きました。イメージ全体を1つ、ハートのフタだけを1つ切り取って、ピンクのペーパーにイメージの通りに貼り付けています。
箱を閉じた時、茶色の箱の部分を見せたかったので、タグを4つパンチで作り、半分に折って赤の蓋の中に貼り付けました。

I used the sketch from Mojo Monday Week 71 (Mojo71). I used just the heart image only for the card. It was also colored with Copic markers. I think the kiss mark definitely gives more sweetness to the card!
Since both of the projects are dimensional, I DO enter this month's TSG challenge (TSG03), too!! Yatta~!!

これは、Mojo Monday ７１（Mojo71)のスケッチを使って作りました。カードには、ハートのイメージだけを使い、コピックマーカーで色を付けました。キスマークがカードに甘さを与えている気がしませんか(笑）

Happy Birthday, Kimberly!!

January 29th is my daughter, Kimberly's birthday!!! She is 11 years old today!!
She is growing a very kind hearted person. And she is just soooo beautiful to ME :)

Taylor Swift is her idol right now. Her brother got her album for the birthday gift even though he complains "Love Story" is playing over and over in his head, lol. They get along most of the time, you know ;)


I love you, Kimmie. You made me a better mother and person. Thank you for coming to my life.

Back to the card.... don't you love this adorable squrrel ??? The set is called "You're So Punny!" It's a colaboration of Jessica and Holly (yeah both so talented!!) All the images are stickin' cute and the sentiments are just funny (I used "Awww... Nuts" for the card)!! I can tell you it's so easy and fun to color!!
For this card, I used Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also added Twinkling H2Os a little ;)

I combined 2 challenges.
The one challenge is TSG Montly Challenge (TSG03) "Going Dimensional"- to add the dimension to your card. If you are up for the challenge, upload your work to SCS with keyword TSG03 by Friday. The bonus is -- if you use TSG stamps for the challenge, you have a chance to win one of the brand new released sets!!
As you see, I used the dimensionals for the squirrel. I really like how it turned out. The dimensional gives the squarrel a life (I don't want to happen IRL, lol) I colored the every layers, too! I just like to do it - looks more completing, don't you think?

The other challenge is the one year anniversary of the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. I used the sketch from Stephanie (TECC52SH) {{hi Steph!}} The sketch went so well with the stamps and I'm just happy with it :)

それでは、カードの話に戻します＾＾このイメージ、とっても可愛いでしょ?　このセットは、「You're So Punny!｣というセットで、JessicaさんとHollyさんのコラボレーションです(才能のある2人ですね～本当）。イメージ全てがとっても可愛らしく、一緒に面白い言葉(このカードでは、Awww... Nutsを使っています）も入っています。カラーリングも、簡単に楽しくできますよ。このカードでは、私はプリズマカラーペンシルとをモルツベン使いました。それと、Twinkling H2Osも少し使っています。

今回、2つのチャレンジにも挑戦しました。
１つは、TSGのマンスリーチャレンジ（TSG03) 「Going Demensinal｣－ディメンション(ポップアップ）を使って、カードを作るです。もし、このチャレンジに参加するなら、金曜日までにSCSのギャラリーにアップロードし、キーワードTSG03を入れておいてください。TSGのスタンプを使った方の中から、抽選で新発売のスタンプセットの中から1つをプレゼントするそうです。
このカードも、見てわかると思いますが、リスをディメンションさせています。ポップアップさせた感じが結構好きで、リスに動きがでますよね。(本当に動いちゃったら怖いけど。。。）レイヤーさせた全てに同じ様に色を塗っています。ただ、好きなだけで別にこれといった理由はありませんが、自分で完成した満足感が出るだけです。

もう1つのチャレンジは、the Taylored Expressions カップケーキチャレンジ1周年記念スケッチチャレンジです。私のは、Stephanieさんのスケッチ（TECC52SH)のを使わせていただきました。有難う、Steph!このスケッチに、イメージがちゃんとはまってくれたので満足しています。

CC203 -- I Have to Use Pacific Point!!

It's getting coooold here in Texas! I hope we don't have an ice storm (keeping cross the fingers).

I did SCS's Color Combination challenge 203 (CC203). The combo is baja breeze, pacific point and garden green. When I saw it over SCS, I almost skipped today's challenge. I love the look of pacific point but it is the one that makes me difficult to use. After I was browsing the gallery, I decided to give it a try because I loved what some of the stampers did with the colors.

ここテキサスは、寒くなってきてます!!アイスストームが来なければいいんですが。。。

今日は、ＳＣＳのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ203（CC203)をしました。今回のコンボは、baja breeze, pacific point, gaden green (Stampin' Up! の色を抜粋）。ＳＣＳで、この色のコンビを見た時、今日はスキップしようかな～と思っていました。pacific pointの色は好きなんですが、使うには苦手な色です。ギャラリーを少し見てから、この色を使った素敵なカードが沢山合ったので、自分もトライする事にしました。


I used the resist technique for the fern on the grid panel and added the colors with the brayer and sponges. Then I stamped the dragonflies with garden green. The flowers were water colored with the reinkers and Twinkling H2Os. After they were dry, I trimmed and mounted one the card. I also added the Stickles to the center of flowers.
The sentiment was stamped with white craft ink and the rhinestones were added.

升目のパネルのシダは、レジストのテクニックを使い、その後、全体にブレイヤーとスポンジで色を付けました。それから、garden greenを使って、トンボを捺しました。花は、インカーとTwinkling H2Osを使って、ウォーターカラーリングし、切り取った後、カードに貼り付けました。花の中心には、Sticklesを付けています。
最後に、ホワイトクラフトインクで言葉を捺し、ラインストーンを付けました。
