SC236 -- Sweet B-day Wishes

Hello everyone~
I had a creative day today and now my house is a mess, lol. Maybe I can wait to clean tomorrow...
This card was used the sketch from SCS Sketch Challenge 236 (SC236). I finally inked this new KSS set, called Multi Step Berries. Don't you love these strawberries?? It is available at KSS store now and you can get as a special bundle with other 6 new sets until Sunday July 12th.

今日は、とてもクリエイティブな1日でした。その代わり、家がとても散らかっています(笑）まあ、明日まで待っても大丈夫でしょう。。。
このカードは、SCSのスケッチチャレンジ236(SC236)のスケッチを使いました。KSSの新しいセット、Multi Step Berriesにようやくインクを付けることができました。このストロベリー、とても素敵でしょう? ただ今、KSS storeで発売されています。7月12日まで、6つの新しいセットと一緒にスペシャルバンドルとして、販売もされています。

I stamped one strawberry and masked it for stamping another one. The small one is stamped on a scrap and it was cut & popped with demensional adhesives. I also stamped the background behind the main layer. The small strawberries were stamped on the same background but they were hidden after all, lol. Oh well, at least I was able to practice :)

イチゴを1つスタンプした後、マスキングをしてもう1つのイチゴをスタンプしました。小さなイチゴは、スクラップにスタンプした後、切り取ってフォームステッカーで貼り付けています。メインパネルの後ろのパネルも、スタンプをしています。小さなイチゴも何個か捺したんですが、結局全部隠れてしまってますね(笑）まあ、少しは練習できたので良しとしましょう(笑）

FS126 -- Cased from Sandra's card

Hello everyone~
I was a little behind with uploading this card for SCS Featured Stamper 126 (FS126). The stamper was July TSG Guest Trendsetter & a super talented stamper, Sandra!!! What a perfect timing!! I'm a big fan of her work and style... who wouldn't??

I cased this beautiful card: Mixiology 101

I changed the stamps & colors and added some elements to my card. I used the same coloring method, that is the one of many reasons I love her work so much. I used Rejuvenate set from There She Goes.

少し遅れてですが、SCSのフィーチャースタンパー126(FS126)のカードを作りました。今回のスタンパーは、7月のTSG Guest Trendsetterをつとめていて、すっごいタレントのスタンパーSandraさんです!!本当、グッドタイミングですね～(笑）私は、彼女の作品、スタイルがとても大好きです。。。まあ、嫌いな人なんていないと思いますが。。。

今回は、上にリンクしてあるカードをケースしました。

スタンプと色を変え、いくつかエレメントをカードに加えました。色の付け方は、Sandraさんと同じ方法を使っています(インカー＆水彩筆）。彼女の作品を気に入っている沢山の理由の1つが、彼女の色の付け方。ため息ものです。使ったスタンプは、There She GoesからのRejuvenateセットです。

FTTC23 -- Pop It Up!

Hello everyone~
This card is my entry of Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge 23 (FTTC23). The challenge is to cut and pop the image(s). Sure!! This is one of my favorite things to do when I make cards.

I used Life Love & Lemons set from Flourishes. (I'm tickled with joy that my Flourishes stamps collections are getting bigger, lol) I colored the image with Copics...I didn't keep the color list I used...but I used some of the same colors that Flourishes carries. I also added Twinkling H2Os (chestnuts brown) for shading. And the challenge part....I cut the lemon images and layered with the dimensional adhesives :)

CC226 -- KSS New Stamps!!

Hello everyone~
Boy, the internet is sooooo slow right now. I really wanted to upload this but it's been taken forever!
I made this card for SCS Color Combination 226 (CC226), hosted by my fellow TSG Trendsetter, Faith :) She chose the colors that were fun but hard to play, lol...It was a very good challenge for me though. I used bashful blue for the alternation of baja breeze.
The stamps I used are a new set, Multi Step Baby set from Kitchen Sink Stamps. This set including other 6 sets are available in KSS store now!! I also used Big & Bold Swashes (New!) on the appricot background and Whole Family set for the word "For a".

Here is my take

I used the new release sets, Multi Step Ducks & Pigs & Bold & Big Swashes (on the moss green mat). I became in love with these cute farm animals at the moment I saw the samples from Maria. I stamped the pigs with blush blossom, pink pirouette, pretty in pink & creamy cocoa (stamping off). Then I masked them and sponged the background with mellow moss and soft sky.
For the moss green mat, I stamped 2 different images with mellow moss and whisper white. I can see I'm going to use the set for many cards!! The images are so versatile!!

ATC Challenge #35 -- Rain Season

Hello everyone~

Tomorrow is 4th of July here in the US. To all of my friends in the US -- Happy Independence Day!!

I made this ATC for ATC challenge #35 over Mixi Love ATC! community group (Japanese). The theme of the challenge is "Rain". The ATC should be with grungy style like rainy days and you also have to use a stamp(s) you haven't used for a long time. Tsubasa, the hostess thought about the grungy idea because Japan is in raining season now. However I completely skipped reading "grungy"(sorry, Tsubasa!)

久しぶりに、MixiのLove ATC! コミュニティーで月2回行われているATC チャレンジに参加しました。ATCチャレンジも今回で35回目。３巡目に突入です。
担当のTsubasaさんが出したテーマーは、｢梅雨」。
１、梅雨っぽいジメジメ、ジトジトした感じで作る。
２、長い間、買ったままで押していないスタンプを使う。

梅雨ということだけ頭に入れて、ジメジメ、ジトジトは見事に忘れています（汗）Tsubasaさん、ごめんなさ～い(>_<)

I used Willow with Unbrella by Whiff of Joy. I colored the image with Copics and layered the unbrella with the demensional adhesives. I added Glossy Accents for the rain drops.
I made a card with the ATC, too!

ATCには、Whiff of JoyからのWillow with Unbrellaを使いました。イメージは、コピックで色を付け、傘の部分だけ、フォームステッカーで重ねて貼っています。雨粒は、グロッシーアクセントを付けました。
出来上がったATCを使った、カードも作ってみました。

Deepest Sympathy

Hello everyone~
It's very sad but I needed to make a sympathy card.
My father in law's cousin was murdered a few days ago. He was stabbed to death and found in a wood.
Although I personally don't know about FIL's cousin. I'm still so upset and disgusting about the whole situation. My heart is so hurt when I think about what his family and friends are going through right now.
His funeral service is going to held today and I deeply hope his family will find some peace and comfort even though they are in the most difficult times.

義父のいとこが、数日前に殺害されました。刃物で殺され、森で死体で発見されたそうです。

私は、義父のいとこを個人的に知りませんが、こういう事が身近におきたのが、とても残念でなりません。彼の家族や友人のことを考えると、苦しくて胸が痛いです。
御葬式が、今日行わる予定です。彼の家族が、この様な辛い時期に、少しでも平穏な時間が過ごせられることを願ってやみません。

Today's card is just a quick one I made for SCS Sketch challenge 235 (SC235).
I have seen a few great summer cards with using the sketch and I wanted to make one, too. I'm in Texas, but my mind was all way to Hawaii while I was making it, lol.

The stamps I used are 3 Step Aloha! from Kitchen Sink Stamps. The word was stamped with VersaMark with brown ink (inked VersaMark first, then inked the brown ink ) and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. And the pinapple image was stamped.

FTTC22 -- Playing with Chalks

Hello everyone~
It's July 1st!! I can't believe the half of the year is already gone...Time flies by so fast, doesn't it?
Before I got too busy with other things, I tried Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge 22 (FTTC22). The challenge is to use chalks (pastels). My chalks are in the back of the drawer for a long time until the time when I made this card for TSG Sneak Peek. After I made the card, I remember how fun playing the techniques with chalks were. I'm so glad I had another chance to play with my long lost friends today, lol.

今日は、7月1日です。もう、1年の半分が過ぎてしまいました。時間の流れが、とても速いですね～。
遅くならない内に、FlourishesのTimeless Tuesday チャレンジ22(FTTC22)に挑戦しました。チャレンジは、チョーク(パステル)を使って作品を作るです。私のチョークは、引き出しの奥の方にずっと潜んでましたが、つい先日TSGのスニークピークで、このカードを作った時に、久しぶりに使いました。その時、チョークを使ったテクニックの楽しさを、改めて再発見。今回、また使うことができて嬉しいです。

I used "Poppin' Pastels technique" for my card. It's the same technique Silke showed us for the FTTC. I stamped Sweet Pea image with VersaMark Dazzle (champagne) and added colors with chalks & cotton balls. For the quote mat, I stamped the quote with brown ink first, then stamped the sweet pea image with the same way as I did the background. I distressed around the edges with the distressing tool & brown chalk ink.

今回のカードでは、Poppin' Pastelsというテクニックを使いました。FTTCのサンプルで、Silkeさんが使っていたテクニックです。スイートピーのイメージを、ヴァーサマークDazzle (シャンパン色）で捺し、その後、チョークとコットンで色を付けました。慣用句のパネルは、茶色のインクで言葉を捺した後、スイートピーのイメージを、バックグランドでした同じやり方で、色を付けました。縁は、ディストレッサーと茶色のチョークインクを使って、ディストレスしています。

Paper: pretty in pink (SU), vintage cream (PTI)

Ink: VersaMark Dazzle champagne, VersaMagic sahara sand (Tsukineko), chocolate chip, Stampin' Pastels (SU)
