I have made easel cards for several times but I never made with the circle shape until this one! It is super easy to make if you have a kind of dies like Nestabilities! I used Surprise Digi set for the image and the sayings. The image was colored with Copic markers and the mat was sponged with ink. The card was created with lacey circle Nestabilities and circle Nestabilities. Eco Park designer papers were used for the background. The ribbon tag inside (bottom piece) was attached with ribbon. To finish off, it was embellished with the flower embellishment and pearls.

FTTC152 - Bags, Tags, Boxes and more

From_the_Heart_1-1_edited

Happy Tuesday everyone~

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday  Challenge (FTTC152)!! Heather is challenging us to make ANYTHING but A CARD. Valenitne’s Day is getting closer and this challenge is going to be great for the treat box or bag or even a tag to hold some yummy Valentine candy/chocolates :) Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

From_the_Heart_1-2_edited

I decided to make mini treat boxes to put some Valentine’s day chocolates. They are so easy and simple to make (I am always for anything easy and simple, lol)  I used From the Heart set for the heart pieces. The hearts were cut out with the heart Nestabilities.   I designed each box  just like the box HERE, instead I used 6” x 6” designer paper. Then I added the hearts border around the top of the box. To make the heart piece stand, I folded two circle pieces in half and adhered them together for the base. Then I used toothpick for the stand. It is not stable by itself but the chocolates in the box will hold the stand well. I could put 7 Dove chocolates in one box comfortably :) To finish off, I embellished each heart with the rhinestones and flower embellishment. Then I added the small amount of the red grass in the box.

    Lil_Elephant_3_edited

    Happy Monday!!

This post is going to be short since I have a lot of things to do today and my kids are at home for MLK, Jr. Day.

I made this birthday card for today’s Kitchen Sink Monday. I used Multi Step Lil’ Elephant and Multi Step Bunch O’ Balloons to create the image.

The elephant was stamped as following these steps: 4th – Memento tuxedo black,  3rd – tuxedo black (1 x stamp off), 2nd – Memento london fog, and 1st – london fog (1 x stamp off).  The balloon was stamped as following: 1st – Memento angel pink, 2nd – Memento rose bud (1 x stamp off), 3rd – rose bud, 4th – Memento lilac posies, and 1st – angel pink again.  To finish off, I embellished the flourish pearls and tied the baker’s twine.

This card was used the sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping (FTL173)

    Happy Friday everyone~

It is time for Sweet ‘N Sassy Digi Challenge!! This week’s challenge (SNSDC36) is to make a card/project using monochromatic colors scheme! Easy and fun? I hope you will have a time to play along!

    Sweet_N_Sassy_41-2_edited

I decided to use blue colors for my monochromatic colors scheme. I used New Creature Digi set for the butterfly images and Praying for You Digi for the sentiment. The images were colored with Copic markers and adhered on the corners of the sentiment mat. The sentiment was designed with the Spellbinders fancy tag die and border punch. The card was designed with Prima paper. To finish off, the flourish pearls were embellished for the butterfly trails. I didn’t have any blue pearls…so I colored each pearls with the blue shade Copic marker ;) One way to save money, lol!

The card was designed with Prima Madeline paper and the borders were created with the double edge punch from Martha Stewart. The ribbon was also threaded through the borders. To finish off, I embellished with assorted Prima flowers and rhinestones.
