I love going to tea rooms with my girlfriends! It is my girl’s time…no men allowed!! Not only I enjoy spending time there with my friends, but I also enjoy being served their pretty antique tea cups & pots. So, I decided to put those wonderful time into my feminine card.

I used Cookie’s Tea Digi for the image and one of True Friend Sentiments Digi for the sentiment. The image was colored with Copic markers and the circle mat was sponged with ink. The card was designed with the Echo Park designer papers and adde the decorative borders that was created with SNSS Lacey Eyelet Border die and MS Flower Bed deep edge punch. It was also embellished with the ribbon with the paper rose and pearls.

    FTTC168–Pink-A-Licious Baby Card

    Hello_Baby_1-1_edited

    Hello and happy Tuesday!!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC168)! Silke is challenging us to create a card/project with *PINK* as a main color.  It can be anything from softer pink shades to bright pink colors. Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

    Hello_Baby_1-2_edited

I used Hello Baby! for my Pink-A-Licious card! I am sending this card to Troy’s cousin who is having a girl very soon! (As I am writing this, I need to make a baby boy’s card for her sister, who already had a boy about a month ago! I think the blue version of this will be wonderful as well.)

I stamped the image with Memento tuxedo black on the Classic White cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The mat was sponged with Distress Ink spun sugar using Ink Bleding Tool and Foam. Then it was layered on the mat of SB Beaded Circles die. The card was designed with Glitz designer papers and colored cardstock. The sentiment was stamped on the tag of SB Fancy Tags die and sponged with Distress Ink brushed corduroy. The flower clusters were created with SB Rose Creations and pine needle punch. To finish off, the beaded circle mat were dressed with the pink pearls.

    KS Monday–Thinking Of You Hummingbird

    Hamming_Birds_KSS_2-1_edite

    Hello and happy Monday everyone~

It’s been quite hot here in Texas and swimming in a pool was one thing my kids did during the weekend! It is also a time for hummingbirds to buzzing around my yard :)

I decided to ink a hummingbird from Multi Step Hummingbirds with Multi Step Hibiscus for today’s Kitchen Sink Monday. I love the combination of those images…always make me think a beautiful summer!

    Hamming_Birds_KSS_2-2_edite

The image was stamped with these steps:
Hummingbird: 4th – VersaFine imperial purple, 3rd – Memento cottage ivy, 2nd – Memento bamboo leaves, and 1st – Memento pear tart (1 x stamp off)

    Hibiscus: 3rd – Memento rhubarb stalk, 2nd – Memento potter’s clay (1 x stamp off), 1st – Memento tangelo (1 x stamp off), 4th – Memento rich cocoa, and 5th – imperial purple

    Leaves : 3rd – cottage ivy, 2nd – bamboo leaves and 1st – Memento new sprout

I added some shadow with Copic markers (C03, 01, 00). You need to check what Maria showed HERE if you haven’t seen yet! Memento ink works wonderfully for Copic markers and I had no problem with adding the details like shadows. I sponged the background with Memento danube blue. It’s bright blue and I needed to put off some ink before applying on the mat but it gives more brighter blue sky than Memento summer sky blue. After stamping the sentiment on the strip, I embellished the card with the sheer ribbon with button and rhinestones to finish off.

You can click HERE to get the 10% discount for you order and check out the new Reward Program !!

Be sure to check out what other KS Crews are cookin’ for KS Monday today!!
