KS Monday -- Apr 26th, 2010

Hello and happy Kitchen Sink Monday everyone~
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. My son, Trey turned 9 yrs old on 23rd and we had a birthday/sleep over party on the weekend...he and his friends had a fun time and they were up until 5 am!! They woke up about 8 am that same morning and nobody was tired...great to be young, isn't it? My DH and I were the only ones who were exhausted that day, lol.

So, today's card is actually for me more than anybody else! I used Multi Step Kittens & Pup set for the puppy image and the words. I also used Plaid Plus! set for the heart borders. After the puppy was stamped, I masked it over with the masking that was created with Step 1 puppy stamp and sponged the shadow using the punched-out-oval as a template.

These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are Memento unless mentioned):
(puppy) 3rd - SU close to cocoa, 1st - desert sand, 2nd - SU close to cocoa (1 x stamp off), 4th - SU chocolate chip

Such an adorable card Maki...I remember my son's sleepovers too. I too was more tired the next day than any of the boys were. *giggle

I love the buttons and that fabulous DP behind the puppy dog. He definitely looks like he could use a little TLC. Another beautiful card!
