Hello and happy Monday, everyone~ Time for Kitchen Sink Monday!! Woohoo!

It’s another week of hot summer days here…Kids are going back to school next Monday and we’re getting back to our normal routine. (Yay!!) The one thing I encourage my kids to do throughout the year is to read books. Since their school is going to start soon, I decided to make a bookmark for each of them so that they can enjoy reading more :):)

These corner bookmarks are so easy to make…I recommend Beate’s tutorial from SCS if you’d like to find out how to make it. For my son’s bookmark, I used 3 Step School Days. For my daughter’s one, I used 3 Step Butterflies. The sentiment is again from 3 Step School Days and both names are from 1/2 Pint Playful Alphabet Buddy.

Here is the photo of each bookmark. Click to see the larger image.

These are the steps I did for each image:
(Books) 1st – SU pear pizzazz, 2nd – SU garden green, 3rd – SU soft suede

(Butterfly) 1st – SU pink pirouette, 2nd – SU riding hood red, 3rd – SU chocolate chip

To save 10% off your total purchase, just click HERE and it will take you straight to the store to shop. When you check out, enter MAKIKO10KSS at the coupon code box. Note - please type a capital "O" at the end of my name and a zero in the number for 10.
