Hello and happy Kitchen Sink Monday everyone~
I am praying for all friends of the area that Hurricane Irene landed. I hope the damages are as little as possible.
I made today’s KS Monday card using the sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping (FTL155) . They are teaming up with Color Q Challenge for the challenge.Since the new Color Q challenge will not be up until tomorrow, I needed to pick the color combo from the past Color Q challenges. I picked CQC68.
I used Multi Step Zinnia for the image. The flowers were stamped as following these steps: 5th – VersaFine imperial purple, 4th – SU cherry cobbler, 3rd – SU poppy parade, 2nd – poppy parade (1 x stamp off), 1st – SU so saffron. Then, I stamped the leaves with : 3rd – SU always artichoke, 2nd – always artichoke (1 x stamp off), 1st – SU pear pizzazz.
The sentiment from Simple Sentiments were stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. To finish off, I embellished with the buttons.
