KS Monday–With Sympathy Irises

Iris_KSS_2_edited

Hello and happy Monday everyone~

This card was made for Kitchen Sink Monday.

I used Multi Step Iris for the image and Simple Sentiments for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment on the mat and masked with Post-It strip. Then I stamped the smaller iris image for three times using Stamping Making Paper. I also stamped the larger stem and leave images for greens.

The image was stamped with these steps:
Iris: 4th – Memento paris dusk, 3rd – Memento grape jelly, 2nd – grape jelly (1 x stamp off), and 1st – Memento lulu lavender

Leave – 3rd – Memento cottage ivy, 2nd – Memento bamboo leaves, 1st – bamboo leaves (1 x stamp off)

Copic markers were used for adding the shadows.

The mat was colored with Distress Ink with blending tool. The background was dry embossed with the Tim Holtz embossing folder. To finish off, the card was embellished with ribbon and added silver pearls.
