FTTC178 - Savoring Summer

CherriesandPeaches_1-1_edit

Happy Tuesday everyone~

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC178)!! Amanda is challenging us to create a Favorite Summer (or any other season) Recipe on a Card Decorated with Your Flourishes Stamps. Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

My recipe card was used Cherries & Peaches set. I made a gate fold card and put the cherry pie recipe inside of the card. It can be a nice recipe card to give :) To create the sleeve, I stamped the cherries with Memento tuxedo black on the classic white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Then it was die cut with SB circles and sponged with Memento summer sky using blending too. The sleeve was created with the double edger punch.  The card front was designed with Basic Gray designer paper. Then the corners were embellished with pearls.

I typed my favorite Cherry Pie recipe from Recipe.com and adhered on the inside of the card. The other cherry images were stamped with Memento angel pink randomly.

Oh..my..goodness!....a gate-folded recipe card...brilliant! I love this idea and I'm going to have to keep it in mind for if I make a recipe card to "give away" to someone. You're right, it's perfecting for gifting! Beautifully done, Maki!
