IC166 & PTI Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone~
It's a very nice mild weather here in Texas. I should go play outside but I just can't resist awesome challenges all over the cyber world :)

I made this card for SCS Inspiration challenge 166 (IC166) - Hunkydoryhome and I also used the sketch from PTI sketch challenge.
My inspiration is the cute retro lampshade below. Without this inpiration, I never came up with the idea of stamping the purple leaves and green flowers. My little brain would completely opposite, lol.

ここテキサスは、とても暖かくて過ごしやすい天気でした。外に出て遊べばいいのに、サイバーワールドの面白いチャレンジを見逃すことができませんでした（笑）

このカードは、SCSのインスピレーションチャレンジ１６６（IC166)－Hunkydoryhomeで作ったもので、PTIのスケッチチャレンジからのスケッチを使いました。
私のインスピレーションは、下の可愛いレトロなランプです。このインスピレーション無しで、紫の葉っぱ、緑の花のアイディアは絶対に浮かびません。私の固い脳みそは、全く逆の色合わせをしていたはずです（笑）



I made the whole card with "Floral Frenzy" and "Wise Owl" stamp sets from Papertrey Ink. I'm very satisfied how the background was turned out! Those images are darn cute :) It's been a long time since the last time I used those sets and I'm in love all over again, lol.

カード全体に、Papertrey InkからのFloral FrenzyとWise Owlのセットを使いました。バックグランドの出来栄えに中々満足しています。本当に可愛いイメージですよね～。しばらく、このセットを使っていなかったんですが、また惚れ直しました（爆）

PTI Over the Rainbow Challenge & LSC206

Hello everyone~
One of my favorite stores, Papertrey Ink are celebrating 2 years Annversary right now. I've kept up the all contest everyday although I don't have any luck yet. I'm just having fun these contests as well as all the challenges :)

The card above is for PTI Over the Rainbow challenge. I don't have 3 out of 4 colors Nicole suggested so I used the similar colors instead.
I had a little hard time to finish the card because I had to use 4 completely different hues. But over all, I love the colors combo and you know why when you look at the next card.....:)

私の大好きなストアの１つ、Papertrey Inkが２周年記念のお祝いをしています。くじ運は全然ありませんが、頑張ってコンテストとかにも、毎日エントリーしています。まあ、元来チャレンジ好きなので、これもその延長でチャレンジしています（笑）

上のカードは、PTI Over the Rainbowチャレンジで作ったものです。Nicoleさんが指定した４色の色の内、３色は持っていなかったので、似たような色を代わりに使いました。
４色とも、全く違うトーンの色だったので、結構苦労して作りましたが、結果的にこの色のコンボ、結構気に入りました。理由は、次のカードを見ればわかると思います。。。。。

Paper: summer sunrise (PTI), old olive (SU), White cardstock (GP)

Ink: summer sunrise, dark chocolate (PTI), old olive, real red, baja breeze (SU)

Accessories: ribbon

Now you know why I like it, lol....the next card is almost same color combos with the PTI card. The colors must have stucked my head while I was making it, lol. This card is for SCS Limited Supplies challnege 206 (LSC206) and the only stamps you can use are SENTIMENTS!
Well, I found the way to use flowers without the flower stamps ;-) The giant flower were made with stickers and prima flower and I added the clear pebble sticker on the center of the flower.
The leaves are originally the leaves felt border sticker from Queens and Co. I just cut 2 leaves out from the border.

なぜ好きだかわかりましたか?次のカードも、PTIのカードと同じような色のコンボですね~。きっと、この色が頭にそのまま残っていたに違いありません（笑）このカードは、SCSのリミットサプライチャレンジ（LSC206)で作りました。使ってよいスタンプは、言葉のスタンプのみ！
花のスタンプを使わずに花を何とか作りました;-)　大きな花は、ステッカーとプリマの花を使い、花の中心には、ぺブルのステッカーを付けました。葉っぱは、元はQueens and Co.からの葉のフェルトボーダーステッカーだったんですが、ボーダーから２枚の葉を切り取って使いました。

WT204 -- Butterfly Kisses gift bag & card

Hello everyone~
I was not feeling good and just took easy for a day. I watched recorded TV shows while folding clothes, checking all subscribed blogs (500+ new posts, Wow!) and took a nap.... maybe I just needed to enough sleep because I felt much better after I woke up :)

I made the card for SCS Way to Use It challenge 204 (WT204). In the last post, I mentioned that I was hoarding many papers and embellishments....Julia S (the challenge host) must have read my mind because the challenge was to find the way to layer the embellishments.
Along the challenge, I decided to make the matching gift bag to enter the one of the contests that was going on over Nicole's blog for Papertrey Ink 2 year anniversary.

今日は、あまり気分が良くなかったので、テレビを見ながら洗濯物を畳んだり、いつも読んでいるブログ（５００以上更新あり！）を読んだり、昼寝をしたり。。。。多分、睡眠を十分にとる必要があったのかもしれません。昼寝から起きたら、気分が良くなりました（笑）

カードは、SCSのWay to Use Itチャレンジ２０４（WT204)で作りました。前の更新で、沢山のペーパーとエンベリッシュメントを勿体無くて使えずにとってあることを書いたのですが、Julia Sさん（チャレンジのホスト）は、多分私の気持ちを読んでいたんでしょうか。。。今回は、エンベリッシュメントを重ねた使い方をするチャレンジでした。
このチャレンジに伴い、Nicoleさんのブログで只今行われているPapertrey Ink２周年記念のコンテストの１つにエントリーするために、お揃いのギフトバックも作りました。


For the both gift bag and card, I used Prima flowers. I layered the tied ribbon to the flower on the card. And I used the same ribbon as bag handles with looping through the each flowers. The rhinestones I used on the butterflies are hotfix crystals.

The template for the bag was made by Angela Sylvester and it was featured on SU On Stage magazine. This gift bag is also a great way to use up my hoarding designer papers, lol. The card base and gift bag were used with retired SU Simply Scrappin' kit. Yep, another hoarding supplies ;-)

ギフトバックとカード両方に、プリマの花を使い、カードには、結んだリボンを花に重ね、同じリボンをバックのハンドルに使って、それぞれの花に通しています。蝶々に付けたラインストーンは、ホットフィックスクリスタル（熱で裏の接着剤を溶かして使うラインストーン）です。

バックのテンプレートは、Angela Sylvesterさんが作ったものを使ました。これは、SU On Stageマガジンで紹介されたものです。このギフトバックは、使いきらない紙を使い切るのにもいいですよ（笑）カードとギフトバックは、廃盤になったSUのスクラップブックキットを使いました。これも、使いきらない品ですね～＾＾”

SC214 - Sent with Love

Hello everyone~
This card is for SCS Sketch challenge 214 (SC214). You probably see many Valentine's Day projects all over the blog world and I just added to the list :)
I decided to use "Special Delivery" from There She Goes for this challenge because I noticed I had used the set only one time since I got it. It's really wonderful sets and I love it so much! I can't believe I've made only one card so far! (Isn't it happened to you, too?)

このカードは、SCSのスケッチチャレンジ２１４(SC214)で作ったものです。皆さんも、ブログワールドの間で沢山のバレンタインデーの作品を見ていると思いますが、私もそれにもう１つ加えたいと思います（笑）
このチャレンジに、There She Goesからの「Special Delivery」を使うことにしました。理由は、このセットが届いてから、まだ１回しか使っていないからです。とっても素敵なセットで大好きななのに、カードを１枚だけしか作ってないなんて。。。（皆さんも同じような事ありますか？）

I changed to the circle center layer instead of the square one from the original sketch. I stamped the mail box and hearts and colored them with Copic markers. And then I masked the images and made the clouds with the scalloped oval mask and the sponge.
The designer papers and velvet ribbon are the one of my favorite retired accessories from Stampin' Up! I have so many papers and embellishments I'm hoarding for a long time :-0 I really need to use them up :)

オリジナルのスケッチからのセンターパネルの四角を，円に代えてみました。メールボックスとハートをスタンプし、コピックマーカーで色を付け、その上にマスキングをして、スカロップオーバルマスクとスポンジを使って、雲を描きました。
ここで使ったパターンペーパーとベルベットのリボンは、Stampin' Up!の大好きな廃盤のアクセサリーです。長い間、ずっと勿体無くて使っていない紙やエンベリッシュメントが沢山あるんですよね～。いい加減使いきらないといけません（笑）

CC204A -- Coral Sky

Hello there,
This is the another Color Combination challenge over SCS (CC204A). It's a beautiful color combo and I imagined the beautiful sunset. Everytime I see the beautiful coral sky like the color I used, I'm just amazed by the wonder of nature. I'm so thankful God give us the one of these days.

I made the scene with the wonderful technique that Michelle Zindorf uses - resisting and brayer coloring. I know it's not even close to what she does but I'm satisfied the way I did with this card.

こんにちは～
こちらは、SCSから出ていたもう１つのカラーコンビネーション（CC204A)です。綺麗な色のコンビで、美しいサンセットを思いだしました。この色のような綺麗なコーラル色の空を見る度に、自然の不思議な構造に圧倒されると共に、こうした時間を与えてくれる神様にいつも感謝しています。

この風景は、レジストとブレイヤーカラーリングを使って、Michelle Zindorfさんが広めた素敵なテクニックで作りました。彼女の作品とは、かなりかけ離れた出来上がりですが、これはこれで、自分なりに満足しています。

CC204 -- Grow with Love

When I checked today's SCS challenge this morning, there were no new challenge was posted. So I started cleaning the houses and doing the laundry all morning, lol. Well, when I rechecked after lunch, there were 2 Color Combination were posted!! What a bonus! I've played one CC challenge so far and I hope I get to play the other one after my kids go to bed.

今朝、SCSのチャレンジをチェックしたんですが、新しいチャレンジが出ていなかったので、家を掃除したり、洗濯などすることができました（笑）お昼が過ぎた後、またチェックしたところ、何と今度は、２つのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジが出されていました!!今のところ、１枚だけチャレンジをしましたが、もう１つのチャレンジは、子供達が寝た後でもしようかと思っています。

This card is for CC204. The colors for the challenge are tempting turquoise, gable green, pink passion, lovely lilac. They are all Bold Brights color group and I thought they would be wonderful for the spring flowers :)

I used Pansies, my favorite stamp set from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I took the idea of the heart wreath from Wendy's gorgeous framed heart wreath.
To make the heart wreath, I used the heart panel as a template and just adhered the pansies, were stamped and trimmed on the separate piece of white cardstock, around the heart. After the sentiment was stamped, I attached the rhinestones, the butterflies and the bow.
I used many colors for this card, maybe the most different kinds of colors I've ever used in one card! Now, the ink pads are all over my work table, lol.

このカードは、CC204で作ったカードです。このチャレンジの色は、tempting turquoise, gable green, pink passion, lovely lilac (SUからの色を抜粋）です。全ての色が、Bold Brights のカラーグループで、春の花に使ったら素敵な色だと思いました。

スタンプは、Kitchen Sink Stampsからの私の大好きなセット、Pansiesを使いました。ハートの意r－巣は、Wendyさんのゴージャスな額入りハートのリースからアイディアをもらっています。
ハートのリースを作るのに、ハートのパネルをテンプレートに使い、別の白のカードストックにスタンプし、切り取ったパンジーをハートの周りに付けました。言葉を捺した後、ラインストーン、蝶々、リボンを付けました。
このカードで、沢山の色、おそらく最も違う種類の色を使ったと思います。ただ今、テーブルがインクパットですごいことになっています（笑）

Paper: gable green, chocolate chip, whisper white (SU) white cardstock (GP)

Ink: blue pansy - cool caribbean, tempting turquoise, ballet blue, pacific point / pink pansy - pretty in pink, pixie pink, pink passion, purely pomegranate / purple pansy - almost amethyst, lavender lace, lovely lilac, elegant eggpalnt / butterfly - creamy caramel, close to cocoa, chocolate chip (SU)

Accessories: ribbon, rhinestones, CB embossing folder, Nestabilities

FS104 & OCC challenge

Hello again~
This is my second card for Sunday. I made it for SCS Featured Stamper 104 (FS104). The stamper was BevR!! She makes the most gorgeous cards and of course I'm her blog stalker, lol. Her cards are always fantastic inside as well as outside. I INSIST to check her gallery and you can thank me later, hehe.

2度目のこんにちは～
これは、日曜日に作った2枚目のカードです。SCSのフィーチャースタンパー１０４(FS104)で作りました。スタンパーは、BevRさんでした!!彼女は、すごいゴージャスなカードを作る方で、私は、彼女のブログのストーカーです(笑）彼女のカードは、いつも中も表と同じ位素晴らしいんです。ギャラリーを是非覗いてみてください。お礼は後ほどで構いません(笑）

I was just overwhelmed her gallery but I decided to case this gorgeous rose card.
I changed stamps but kept the same flowers, added black to the color combo, used the heart insead of the doily and used the different embellisments.
The card is also combined the challenge from Our Creative Corner (OCCC) - to use 2 hearts or more. I used the scalloped heart and the heart charm that I was hoading for many years ;)

私は、ギャラリーで既に圧倒されましたが、このゴージャスなバラのカードをケースする事にしました。
テーマはそのままで、スタンプを変え、黒色を足し、ドイリーの代わりにハートを使い、違うエンベリッシュメントを使いました。
カードは、Ｏur Creative Corner（OCCC)のチャレンジ-2つ以上のハートを使う-にもチャレンジしています。スカロップのハートと、長年使い拒んだハートのチャームを使っています。

I used "Roses & Chocolate" from There She Goes and colord the image with Copics. I also used white gel pen for a little highligting. Since Bev always decorate inside the card to match with the card front, I did mine, too (of course, mine is not as fancy as hers, lol)

スタンプは、There She Goesからの「Roses & Chocolate」を使い、イメージはコピックで色を付けました。ハイライトに白のジェルペンも使っています。Bevさんは、カードの中も表に合わせて、デコレートしているので、私も同じくやってみました！(勿論、私のは、彼女のような華はありませんが。。。）

Paper: purely pomegranate, whisper white, cameo coral dp (SU)

Ink: Palette noir black (Superior), Copic markers

IC165 -- Elum Designs

Hello everyone~
I made a couple cards Sunday afternoon during the Superbowl :) I watched the beginning of the game, got up and stamped. After I came back from my studio, the game was 1 minute left so I watched until it was over, which I'm glad I did :) I'm not a big fan of Superbowl, but BOY! the last one minute was worth to watch! What a ending!!

Anyway, I made this card for SCS Inpiration challenge (IC165). It was from Elum Designs and another great inspiraition! I looked and looked the whole web site. And I finally decided to use the design as my inspiration.

皆さん、こんにちは～ 日曜日の夕方、スーパーボールが行われていた間に、2枚のカードを作りました。ゲームの初めを少し見てからスタンプをしに行き、スタンプの部屋から戻ってきた時は、ゲームが残り1分の所だったので、そのまま最後まで見ました。スーパーボールは、興味がありませんが、最後の1分は興奮しましたね～。まあ、すごい終わり方でした!!

話がそれましたが、このカードは、SCSのインスピレーションチャレンジ（ＩＣ１６５）で作りました。Elum Designsを使った今回のインスピレーションも、とっても良かったです。サイト全てを満遍なく見た後、最終的に、こちらのデザインをインスピレーションに使う事にしました。




I used my new favorite stamp set, "Flowers of Happiness" from There She Goes. I stamped the vines first and colored them with Copics. I also stamped the brances from TSG mini set, "Branches"（no more available, sorry). Then I stamped and colored the flowers with the same way on the white cardstock scraps. And I trimmed and mounted them on the vines with the dimensionals and mini dots.
I wanted to leave the space with white but I made the mess and had to added yellow color with the sponge to cover it up :) The ribbon and the circle panel with the sentiment were attached to finish the card.

スタンプは、私の新しいお気に入りになったThere She Goesからの"Flowers of Happiness"を使っています。蔦を初めにスタンプし、コピックで色を付けました。その上に、TSGミニセット、"Branches"(完売してました）の枝も捺しています。それから、花を同じ方法で、白のスクラップに作り、鋏で切りとり、蔦の上にポップアップやミニドッツを使って貼り付けました。空いた部分を白として残したかったんですが、汚くなってしまったので、隠す為にスポンジを使って、黄色を付けました(笑）最後に、リボンと言葉を捺したサークルのパネルを貼り付けています。

LSC205 -- Clean and Simple

I was going to upload this card but I was too busy for a couple days.
I made it for SCS Limited Supplies challenge (LSC205). The challenge was to make CAS (clean and simple) card.

皆さん、こんにちは～
ここ数日とても忙しくて、このカードを載せるタイミングを逃しました。
これは、SCSのリミットサプライチャレンジ（LSC205)で作ったものです。チャレンジは、CAS(クリーンアンドシンプル）のカードを作る。


I'm still trying to figure out what my style is but I know CAS is not my style. Although I love layers, it's fun to try the different style from time to time.
This card took only 10 minutes to make thanks to the fantastic tools I've collected over years, lol. I think I kept clean and simple enough... What do you think?

私のスタイルって何だろうと、未だに考えるんですが、CASは、私のスタイルではないというのは知っています。レイヤー大好きな私ですが、たまには違うスタイルをトライするのも楽しいですね。
このカードは、10分で作ることが出来ました。まあ、今まで集めた素晴らしい道具のおかげですが。。。(笑）
十分、クリーンでシンプルにしたと思いますが、どう思いますか?
