KSCC#24 -- Hip to be Square!!

Hello everyone~
I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend. My family and I did a great one except my throat were still suffering from the allergy/cold...that's the reason I was not here for the most of last week ...this cold definitely took my Mojo away somewhere :( I hope the new week will bring more creative juice into me.

To kick off the new week, how about another Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge? Angela Knopf is a challenge host and she is challenge us to being "Hip to be Square" -- Create a card or project that's SQUARE. The more squares the better!! We can't wait to see your "hip to be square" creations!!

Here is my square card :)

I used Multi Step Baby set for the background. I took the inspiration from the blocks image for the title "baby", that was stamped using Playful Alphabet Buddy set. I distressed the background layers and sponged the square mats (including each mat for the letters) to create more vintage look. I machine stitched the background and attached the vintage button for the embellishment.
The inside of the card was also designed with the same stamp sets.

This card is also entered Our Creative Corner Challenge (OCCC) - Use buttons on our cards or projects, and Crazy 4 Challenges 31 (C4C31) - Make a card/project using Kraft CS as a card base.

These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are Memento unless mentioned):
(blocks) 1st - summer sky, 2nd - summer sky, 3rd - bahama blue
(letters "baby") were used Rock'n Roll technique with summer sky and SU bashful blue

カードベースがクラフトというのは、Makiさんには珍しい気がしますが、このカード、とってもかっこいいのにかわいいです!
程よいスポンジングとやさしい水色の効果でしょうか。
風邪、早く良くなりますように…。
